Cheia - traditional old village in Transylvania

Cheia village is located in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains of Transylvania, right next to the beautiful Râmeț Gorges (Cheile Râmețului) and three other scenic gorges. We are surrounded by forests, majestic mountains, and wild landscapes. The guesthouse is a renovated, original thatched house from the 19th century. Our place is remote and can be reached on foot via a marked trail or by 4x4 in dry weather, with proper tires. We can also arrange transport by car from Brădeşti to our location.

A little house with everything you need +hammocks

Many times those who stayed here chose to return. Is a small and cozy house, the old household of our grandparents, recently restored to offer you everything you need to make you're stay like home here in the heart of Transylvania Mountains. It can accommodate max 3 people (one double bed + one single), has a bathroom and a well equipped kitchen, a small library, free wifi (perfect for working remote as I also do) and the heating with the wooden stove will give you a warm and welcome feeling.

Our House

Our House is located in a quiet area close to Piatra Craivii - the last refuge of King Decebal - and 13 km from Alba Iulia. It has all the amenities, but also has space for children to play (slides, stacks, climbing wall, trampoline), tennis table, hockey, badminton fillet, pool table, butt, soccer gates and other games. The filigoria is equipped with brick barbecue (grill and cauldron), and next to it there are relaxation areas (hammock, sun lounger). It's ideal for relaxing!

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. Here you can escape the noise and urban stress, leaving behind the daily bustle and concerns. Accommodation capacity 10 people. The cottage is approx: 30 km from Alba-Iulia, approx. 5 km from the protected area "Cheile Caprei"( Cheile Fenesului) and approx. 20 km from the protected area "Poiana cu Narcise" from Negarleasa. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the outdoors space and all the outdoor and indoor activities. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups.
