Holiday rentals with a kayak in Ingramport

From the moment we arrived at this charming cottage, we were blown away by the breathtaking view. It made every sunrise and sunset feel magical. The amenities were equally impressive. The cottage was clean, and beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed - from a fully stocked kitchen to linens and even games for a rainy day. The location was fantastic, as we were just minutes away from local grocery stores and a mix of eateries - perfect for grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely dinner. Plus, the area is packed with sightseeing adventures and historic landmarks to hidden gems we discovered along the way. This place felt like home away from home and we can’t wait to go back again!

The Pearl was a beautiful place to stay! From the furnishings and artwork, to the amenities (like a hot tub and sauna) and private surroundings, it had everything you would hope to find in a vacation getaway. Liz put extra care and thought into this home, and it shows. Fresh bread and eggs for breakfast, scented candles for a cozy ambiance, wood for an indoor fire or a heat pump for added warmth, and soap, shampoo, lotion, etc that is free of many allergens and chemicals) just to name a few. I honestly could have left half of what I packed at home as this place has it all! My only regret is I wish I had more time to spend there. Don't delay in booking this space.

We loved our stay here. Great location for getting to different places. Beds were super comfortable. Nice front porch to sit and relax in the evening. Owners live on the property so you will pass by eachother, they are really friendly.

Dave’s place is a little slice of heaven. The view is so peaceful and it was the perfect place to unwind. Although we didn’t end up bringing any dogs, the fenced in yard and being so close to the water was an amazing find. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Our trip to Nova Scotia was a special celebration for our daughter. We chose the Den of Zen for a number of reasons, all of which exceeded our expectations: beautiful setting on a lake; clean and modern interior; an elixir of natural light from a wall of windows; use of great amenities such as a sauna, hot tub, and grill; close to Halifax/airport and easy access to routes for day trips; and comfortable beds. What was remarkable was the incredible hospitality of our hostess, Shelley, who made the trip THE best by offering attraction suggestions and keeping in touch to answer our questions. She was so attentive. We highly recommend a stay at the Den of Zen!

We had a lovely stay at Hook’d 2. The deck right onto the water during sunset was pure heaven. We relaxed in the hot tub while playing some tunes in their speaker. The inside was beautiful decorated and comfortable. The place was in a great location and was a very short ride to Lunenburg. We were well informed about everything through the host and they answered back in a timely manner. We will definitely be coming back!

Wow. I’ve stayed in loads of Airbnbs, and this is by far the best. It’s absolutely stunning, and the attention to detail is spectacular. Vicky has created a gorgeous, comfortable space that truly highlights the natural beauty of Porters Lake. This is such a special place, and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here.

This place was incredible! Close enough to Halifax to enjoy the city but remote and quaint to enjoy the seaside life. The accommodation was very well stocked with coffee, milk, bread, treats! Highly recommend!

The Loch was exactly what we needed..peaceful, relaxing and healing! The lake is beautiful! Took advantage of the warm May weather and experienced the kayak. Enjoyed watching the water plane take off!! Forest lined Road is beautiful for an early morning walk (with our Great Dane who also enjoyed the lake house!!)..in either direction and the neighbors are so friendly! The property itself it exquisite...modern, clean, comfortable with idyllic views of the lake from any angle! lots of feathered visitors (ducks, loons, and Canada geese + with their babies in tow). The surrounding villages and towns are fun to explore..lots of great shops restaurants and experiences. Highly recommend Foc'c'sle Village Pub in Chester (oldest in Nova Scotia!) and the Four Points Vintage Market Antique Mall in Blockhouse is full of treasures!! Overall a great destination!!!! So glad to have had the opportunity to experience this piece of paradise!

Great place with an outstanding hosts. Instructions were simple and clear. View of the water is beautiful with lots of wildlife in the area. Plenty to do or not to do if you choose.

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the cottage. The place was spotlessly clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The place is very private and we got to enjoy the kayaks and a lovely bonfire under the stars. The hosts are very accommodating, friendly and responsive. This is one of the nicest AirBnBs I have stayed at and we are already planning to come again next summer. Highly recommended!

Sarah and Lawrence are great hosts! They were very warm and welcoming! The reservation was confirmed quickly, details were clear and the cottage was more than we expected! The cottage felt homie, has everything you need, and an amazing view! It was great to sit out of the deck! Not too far from Halifax or Wolfville! Very happy with our time at the cottage!

Ian and Sandi’s family cottage was perfect, like finding a piece of paradise. It was even more beautiful than the pictures and descriptions portrayed. Beds and linens were amazing, kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. It’s spacious both inside and out. We can’t wait to go back.

To say we were satisfied is an understatement. We most definitely will be booking again to utilize in the summer season. We rented this time to be closer to the venue holding my sons wedding, and having such a wonderful home and hosts made is so much easier on us ❤️

The boathouse is such a beautiful location. We had most perfect, relaxing, unplugged weekend (swam, kayaked, read, napped, forest bathed, star gazed and soaked in the fresh sea air). We were the only guests on the property so it was very peaceful and private and only an hour from Halifax. Hosts were super accommodating. Highly recommend!

Loved this spot. If you enjoy a cozy rustic cabin (with electricrity and plumbing) with a view of the water then this is perfect. I plan on staying again if I'm back out this way.

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for, even better than we expected! We can’t wait to go back in the Fall. We think it will be awesome once the leaves begin to turn! Highly recommend for a mini retreat!

Jodie and Marc’s airbnb was above and beyond what we anticipated. Although the weather wasn’t what we were hoping for, we had such a great time. They had numerous amenities and necessities that were all provided. It was a great place to have a nice staycation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you have any fur friends, this is the place you want to go! Although we didn’t bring any puppers with us, we were pleasantly surprised at the thoughtfulness Jodie and Marc provide for your furry friends! The thought that has gone into this Airbnb is impeccable. Would definitely stay here again and again!

If you are looking for a place to kick back, relax and make some memories this is the place. The sunrises from the loft were magnificent- and the short walk to enjoy coffee on the lake was well worth it. Indoor and outdoor areas were well thought out, and just added to our overall experience. We will definitely be back :)
