"Les Ave Maria" Guest House

The guest house is finally renovated in summer 2024 m. Our guest house "Les Ave Maria" welcomes you at the back of our garden. Furnished in a studio with a bedroom area (bed 160X190), separate kitchen and shower room, this cottage is ideal for a couple wishing to enjoy the countryside, and the Loire castles. The house is equipped to accommodate a young child. We give access to our swimming pool 2 hours (flex) per day from June to seven and fully available between 8 and 23 August.

The refurbished accommodation is located in a 16th and 17th century manor house, in a quiet, private subdivision, overlooking a wooded park. Gérald and Nathalie, passionate about old stones and old vehicles, welcome you in a colorful space with the scent of roses and lilies. On foot you can stroll through the streets of Azay-le-Rideau and visit its castle. You will enjoy our bike or walking trails, where pretty paths await you as soon as you leave the cottage. Then it will be with happiness that Touraine will introduce you to its history, its castles, its writers, its gastronomy, its artisans and its Loire.

The cottage is located in the countryside, on the D7, 3 km from the A85 motorway, 3 km from the Loire bike path, close to the castles of Villandry, Langeais (6 km) and Azay-le-Rideau (7 km). Fontevraud Abbey, the castles of Chinon, Saumur, Chenonceau, and even Chaumont-sur-Loire are accessible within the hour thanks to the expressways. Bike shelter available. Private parking. The cottage is completely separate from my house which is nearby. You're my only guests.

Ideal accommodation to enjoy the calm of the countryside in the middle of a 7000 m2 garden while being close to many tourist sites (Chenonceau, Amboise, Beauval Zoo, etc.). The accommodation is a small cocoon of light with its many windows. You can enjoy the garden, where you will find benches, tables and deckchairs in different places… Depending on the season, you will find many fruits to taste (apples, pears, cherries, figs, grapes, persimmons, peaches…).
