Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, close to Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace in the centre of Seoul. Dongchonjae, built about 100 years ago, is a traditional hanok that has been officially certified by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Tourism Organisation. Dongchonjae has been operated by a retired couple who opened their home since October 2020. Dongchonjae is located on a 380.17 m² plot of land It consists of one building, and the space is the main house (Anche/Main House), Sarangchae/Detached House, and Annex. Guests have exclusive use of the Main House and the Annex. The host is in a separate building I live in Sarangchae (Detached House) and will personally assist you with necessary services such as providing breakfast. We hope you can comfortably experience the tranquil beauty and subtle atmosphere of a traditional hanok at Dongchonjae. The Mongyu I encountered is a 100-year-old hanok that reminds me of my family home, built with a pine-wood frame and ochre walls. We have created Dream Play as a wellness space in Seochon.
