The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Enjoy an optimized, elegant, central, quiet and wooded 19 m2 accommodation located on the ground floor set back from traffic in a private inner courtyard. Pharmacy, restaurant, bakery, newspapers on the avenue. It is a 3-minute walk to the city center. The sofa bed is 22 cm, sleeps 120 x 190. The bathroom with window is equipped with a walk-in shower. Simba and I lived here happily for a while, and everything was custom-built to my liking (1st-floor apartment). Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.

A stone's throw from the start of the Loire by bike, 10 minutes from Nevers and 20 minutes from the Magny-Cours circuit. Two large bedrooms each with a double bed and a single bed.

For 2 adults or a couple and two children. No pets.
