Cozy, little and old cottage about 90min drive from Reykjavik and 30min from Borgarnes, close to the river Nordura. The view is magnificent. Svartagil is about 3 km from the main road nr. 1, on road nr. 528. It has two bedrooms, one with 1,40m bed and another with 1,20m. Bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped kitchen and living room. The cottages at Thurranes are 43 square meters. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sleeping loft that fits 2 adults. The house can accommodate 6 adults. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The house is equipped with a kitchen, where you find a little stove, a sink, a microwave and refrigerator. The living room has a couch and a small TV set. A small bathroom with a shower. Hot water, central heating but no WiFi A private hot tub, chairs and a gas BBQ are on the deck.

Cool Cottage close to Reykjavík - hot tub

The cottage is located on a farm, Kalastadir, only 55 km from Reykjavik. It can house up to 6 people. It´s close to the sea and you can see the seals play along the shore. There is a free WIFI and on the veranda is a private hot tub where you can soak while enjoying the view. It´s close to Glymur, the tallest waterfall in Iceland and the shore where the seals are. Since there is no light polution here as in towns and Reykjavík, it´s a good place to watch the Northern Lights.

A private cozy guesthouse on a farm in Skagafjordur, North west Iceland. The perfect getaway for a nature loving couple or friends. The cabin has everything you need to relax. We built the house in 2022. One bedroom with big double bed and another with small double bed , fully equipped kitchen facilities (stove, oven, pots, plates, utensils and coffee maker) with a fridge and a private bathroom with a shower. The cottage is luxurious and has an outdoor natural water hot tub from where you can enjoy the Northern Lights or the fantastic sunset. The living area and the balcony have a spectacular view overlooking the fjord and surrounding mountains. The cottage is a great base for day tours in the south or west of Iceland. Gullfoss, Geysir, Thingvellir and Snæfells glacier are all within 1-2 hours’ drive.

Bjarg is a summerhouse in Bjarnarfjordur, 25 km from Hólmavík. Excellent location for travelling to North/South Strandir or Westfjords. The house stands by the river that runs down the valley. It is a quiet place an excellent place to see the northern lights. Swimming pool and geothermal hot tubs are located in Laugarhóll about 1 km from the house. Outside the house is a fire place, surrounded with trees. Good for quiet evening under the sky and aurora borealis.

Enjoy nature and amazing views in our beautiful cottage in the mountains of Borgarfjörður - 1 hour drive from Reykjavík. The cottage was built in 2013 - 2015 but has a classic and simple style. There is electric heating, a gas stove and outdoor cooking area. The cottage is close to Krauma geothermal bath and the town of Borgarnes where you can go to stores, museum and restaurants.
