When you walk through the front door your eyes will be drawn upwards to the heights of the old-style mortise and tenon beams and 35 foot center peak. (Yes, our home is held together by wooden pegs!) As you walk around you will be surrounded by the yellow pine ceiling, walls, and floors. And you will smell the pine! We hope you will enjoy a quiet and restful escape to the country.

Enjoy a comfy stay at my home in central Grandville! This upstairs apartment has it's own private small deck, super fast wifi, central AC and heating, and very comfy furniture. This unit also has it's own washer and dryer and every kitchen amenity needed to cook a gourmet meal. The sofa pulls out to a very comfortable queen bed and there are also two private bedrooms with queen beds. Stay comes with one off street parking and ample street parking available.

The Amberg House - a Frank Lloyd Wright Original

Staying in a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is a bucket list item for fans of America's most acclaimed architect. The Amberg House was completed in 1911 at the pinnacle of Wright's Prairie Style influence. Though every Wright home is special, the Amberg House is a unique collaboration between Wright and Marion Mahony. Mahony worked with Wright from 1896 until 1909. A graduate of MIT, she was the first woman to be licensed as an architect in the US.

Welcome to our tiny home! In 2019 my husband and I set out to renovate this old pool house into a self-sustainable apartment or tiny home. As you can imagine… things did not turn out the way we intended and construction was completed in the fall of 2020! We are thrilled to open up a part of our lives and our home to you!
