Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Hudson Valley

Lovely place with lake views. 100% happy with this choice vs other offerings in the area. House is set on a hill so you are viewing the lake from a higher spot than if you were literally on the lake. Very majestic. There are binoculars on the window sill to check out boats/things going on. I enjoyed the decor/sense of style the host has. Lots of interesting books, art, turntable, board games, cards, etc. The gardens, koi pond are well maintained. Rooms and bath upstairs do have lower ceiling but this info is disclosed in the ad. It didn’t detract from the experience. Went hiking but we were not avid hikers so learning to read the trail markers was new for us. The town is very small but we found nice spots to eat/visit nearby. We did use kitchen and coffee maker. Appliances are very new. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Cool hairdryer. Host def. appreciates design. Thank you for letting us stay a few extra hours past check out. Wonderful time! Felt like I really got away from the stress.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxing weekend escape from NYC and couldn’t have picked a better spot. We came to explore Kingston but loved the house so much that we were just as happy staying in, playing games, and soaking in the cozy vibes. The home is beautiful and thoughtfully appointed — I can only imagine how magical it must be in the summer with the porch, or in the fall with the foliage. Even in late winter, it was idyllic. The location is perfect — just about 10 minutes from Kingston, so it’s super easy to pop into town while still feeling tucked away. We’d absolutely stay here again!

What a wonderful, stylish home tucked away in the woods and with all the comforts of home. The indoor and outdoor spaces were both ideal for visiting, relaxing, and listening to music (what a sound system). It is perfectly situated close to Woodstock, Saugerties, Kingston, and numerous other attractions. Henry was a kind and responsive host, and always quick to respond to all of our questions. Highly recommended and a definite revisit next time we're heading upstate.

We had the most wonderful weekend getaway at this tucked-away gem in Hudson! The home is beautifully designed—cozy yet spacious, with an abundance of natural light streaming through large windows in every room on the first floor. The kitchen was a dream for anyone who loves to cook, fully stocked with all the appliances and tools you could need. Also, the space was absolutely spotless when we arrived. We really appreciated how clean everything was! Upstairs, the four bedrooms were comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area. The piano was such a special touch—it added to the charm and made the space feel warm and inviting. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with all the comforts of home (and then some), this is the place. Highly recommend! And a huge thank you to the host for being so responsive and accommodating! I would 100% book again!

Staying in the Ex of In House was an unforgettable experience for my family. The architecture is unlike anything we’ve encountered — both compact and expansive, with light and form constantly shifting as you move through the space. My wife, son, and I found it not only beautiful, but also deeply peaceful. Our son was thrilled to sleep at the top of the sphere, which added a touch of wonder to the stay. It's a house that invites curiosity and reflection. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone interested in design, nature, and the future of living

The apartment was beautiful and exactly as described. It was newly renovated, clean, easy to locate, and in a prime location. We met Graham when we got there. He was outside working on more renovations, and he became a friendly face and helpful resource throughout our stay. The patio was definitely worth it. It was so peaceful and serene to just sit in the hot tub and stare off at the creek and mountains. The less than 10 minute walk to town on the abandoned tracks was so easy, romantic, and fun. This is a great place to stay for couples or families!

Beautiful place to stay in Rhinebeck Village! Walkable to shops and restaurants. Located in a very pretty neighborhood, and being close to a beautiful creek, is a wonderful setting! Very clean inside and nicely decorated. There is no basic cable TV so be sure to bring your Roku stick or anything else you need, assuming you want access TV during your stay.

Had a quick but great 1 night stay here on a visit to see Mass MoCa. The place was perfect - clean, close to the museum, etc. And Matti was very responsive as a host as well as respective of our privacy/space. And definitely leverage the guidebook they created - excellent recommendation on restaurants!!

We spent a weekend at Roy's place and had a wonderful stay. The apartment was spotless and located right in the heart of Hudson. Our host Reta was very kind and always prompt in her communication and consideration. At one point there was a small leak to which we were quickly notified. It was repaired before we'd even noticed and we were additionally left with a thoughtful card and delicious muffins. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a large and perfectly situated stay in Hudson.

The Airbnb is on a small hill looking out towards a small pond and an open field. The sunset in particular was very nice. The home is in a very private location. Inside, the space was well decorated - simple yet tasteful. The space itself is on the smaller end but the decor opens up the space. Michael answered all questions within 24-hours. Easy to communicate with. Overall a good stay

This was a lovely getaway, went up for Memorial Day Weekend and getting some nature in at Minnewaska state park, it was rainy this weekend so we ended up having more time at the house then planned but we were so cozy it was a delight, we had some empty tanks for the grill when we arrived but the hosts offered to reimburse us for the refuel which was very kind, also had a friend who left their jacket and keys and Kyle and Jasmine have been wonderful in helping them get it back! A great cozy stay, the ride up was scenic

This was an absolute dream of a property. They have thought of absolutely everything to make you not have to leave to enjoy your time. There were endless amounts of things for our kids and family to do in the home and on the property’s lake front. This truly felt like a peaceful relaxing vacation which is just what we needed. We would have driven double the distance (already almost 3 hours away from us) because we loved being there so much. We cannot wait to come back now that we’ve found a little peace of heaven here. Thank you for having us.

The home was absolutely amazing—truly even better than the pictures. The photos don’t do it justice. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the clear directions and easy check-in to the beautiful space itself. The host was very friendly and highly communicative throughout. I honestly wish we could build a place like this in the future. This has been the best Airbnb I’ve booked since I started using the platform back in 2010. You will love this place—highly recommended!

Our family weekend at Casa Julia was awesome. All 3 generations loved the layout of the house and the beautiful lake across the street. The house was nicely decorated, matched the pictures, and had everything we needed. It was a great home base for relaxation and exploring the Catskills!

Beautiful surroundings and a very spacious home for large groups. We had 8 people staying overnight and had plenty of room. Kitchen was well stocked and clean up was easy. Thanks for a great stay!

The house is very modern, clean and organized. Nice stay, but too bad the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy the outdoor space.
