Jon's place in Flúðir was a delightful surprise! The space was incredibly comfortable and spacious, perfect for exploring the stunning Icelandic countryside. The bathroom was a particular highlight, feeling more like a luxurious 5-star hotel than a vacation rental. The place was fully equipped with everything I needed, making our stay truly hassle-free. Jon was also very responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

We wish this was our house! It was a stylish design which gave beautiful views of the Icelandic countryside and wildlife around. It had everything we needed for our family of 4, including supplying a highchair and cot for our younger son. Faxifoss wayerfall was a short walk away and places like Geysir and Gullfoss were a short drive from the cottage. The owners were always quick to respond to our queries and gave us a great recommendation of a local tomato restaurant where you can eat unlimited tomato soup and bread in a greenhouse. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Spotless, warm, and charming cabin. Sweeping views of lush, green pastures, and of the river valley. Wonderful beds. This is a place where I could stay for weeks on end. I did not want to leave As I read through the stack of signed guestbooks, I found that many if not all guests experienced the same deep sense of peace and calm that I did. Magical place. I'll be back for another stay if I can.
