When I was busy working as an interior coordinator, I wanted you to have a relaxing time, and I wanted to recreate the rich and relaxing time I spent at my grandmother's house as a child. The quaint and retro atmosphere unique to the old house is arranged in a living room. Nearby, you can enjoy a walk in the Kawaramachi area, which is lined with renovated machiya cafes and bakeries, and the Nagara River, which is famous for Ukai (Ukai is from May to October). It is a charming area with lots of nature and fields. Experience the nostalgic life of real Japan, not Japan that was made. We will rent one building, so please have a relaxing time with your family, partners, and groups. The convenience store is about a 4-minute drive away. The supermarket is about an 8-minute drive away. Getting to tourist destinations is Shirakawa-go about 2 hours by car About 2 hours by car from Hida Takayama Gifu Castle is about a 15-minute drive away Legoland 1 hour by car about 1hr drive to Ghibli Park It can also be used as a base for sightseeing in Nagoya and Gifu.

I came to Gifu in 2018, I think it was it’s unpretentiousness that attracted me . The people here seem relaxed and easy going, hospitable and very much in love with their hometown which in the Gifu park area retains much of the (Kyoto like) feeling of traditional Japan with it’s castle and a host of well maintained shrines. I don't think many people have heard of Gifu, even Japanese people, inspite of the Great heritage sights like Shirakawago, beautiful mountains and clear water rivers!

"Moegi" is an old folk house lodging along the Nakasendo in Gifu. We renovated a 60-year-old, 150㎡ old private house to create a private lodging where you can relax. "Moegi" is the name of a traditional Japanese color. It was named to wish for a "good start'' and "child's growth.'' There is a playroom of approximately 32 m² for children. Don't worry if you can't go sightseeing due to rain. There are also many sightseeing spots in the area, making it an ideal base for sightseeing.
