Waterfront holiday rentals in Hoyvík

We had a wonderful time at Marion's. The apartment is beautiful and certainly one of the nicest Airbnbs we've ever stayed in. The view over Klaksvik is amazing, and the terrace is a great addition. The apartment is really well equipped and has everything you need. It was spotlessly clean and really spacious. I would recommend booking a stay at Marion to everyone. Thank you for having us! :)

So our flight to Faroe Islands never landed as the pilot couldn't see the runway due to thick fog and reverted back to Iceland, where we flew from. I texted the host - Inga and she was such a wonderful host that she refunded all the money that she would have gotten if we had occupied her place. This was unexpected and I'm beyond grateful for her generosity. I hope to visit Faroe Islands sometime soon in the future.

Excellent place to stay if you have to be c’ose enough to old Torshavn without being dowtown. Know that the door is behind the house, and you can access the house through 2 roads. Christian was very nice and helpful. Would definitly recommend !

Die Unterkunft bei Nancy und Karl Oddmar war ein absoluter Glücksgriff! Die Wohnung war liebevoll für uns vorbereitet (mit Hochstuhl, Babywanne und Badespielzeug für die Kinder), super sauber und ordentlich, gleichzeitig unglaublich gemütlich. Der Ausblick ist grandios, wir genossen jeden Abend die kleine Bucht und konnten dort Wale, Delfine und Robben beobachten. Aufgrund eines Autoschadens waren wir fast die ganze Zeit mit dem Bus unterwegs, was von der Unterkunft aus auch problemlos möglich war. Nancy und Karl Oddmar waren auch hier sofort hilfsbereit und unterstützen uns bei der Werkstattsuche. Ein besonderes Highlight waren für unseren größeren Sohn die Hühner, die er mehrmals am Tag besuchte, und all die anderen Tiere der Nachbarn.

En lille perle – vi kommer gerne igen! Vi havde et helt fantastisk ophold! Lejligheden var fuldstændig som beskrevet – der var alt, hvad vi havde brug for, og det hele var i perfekt stand og meget indbydende. Man føler sig hjemme med det samme. Udsigten var noget helt særligt – vi kunne sidde i timevis og bare nyde roen og kigge ud. Det gjorde virkelig noget for oplevelsen. Marita var hurtig til at svare og havde tydelige instruktioner til check in. Alt i alt et dejligt sted, som vi varmt kan anbefale.

A nice cosy place for a stay on the Faroe Islands. Everything was clean, we slept well and all as advertised. Nicolina sent us information about things to do and kept us informed before arrival for entry instructions. Great views as well. We had a great stay.

Perfect location, cozy flat and wonderful hosts!

La casa di Helgi è molto grande e arredata con cura. Si trova in una zona silenziosa, a circa 7 min in auto da Torshavn. Le comunicazioni sono state chiare e rapide. Ad esempio, quando abbiamo comunicato che il phon non funzionava, ce n’è stato portato un altro in 5 minuti. Pulizia ottima, tutto nuovo e in ordine. Consigliato per famiglie e gruppi di amici!

Het huis is comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Bij binnenkomst was het aangenaam warm. Alle ruimtes zijn gezellig ingericht. Je verblijft aan het eind van een weg, dus er komt geen verkeer voorbij... heerlijk rustig met alleen het geluid van de vogels en schapen. We hebben ons echt thuis gevoeld. Lasse heeft steeds snel gereageerd op onze vragen en opmerkingen.. Superfijn We zouden zeker terugkomen. Groet Anneke en Margreet

Das kleine Haus ist geschmackvoll und persönlich eingerichtet. Es liegt zentral zur Fähre und zum Bus, der zum Flughafen fährt. Es liegt im alten Viertel von Thorshavn, das ein besonderes, authentisches Flair hat.

Logement très agréable avec une superbe vue ! Point de départ idéal pour une visite sur l’île de Kalsoy.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung entspricht den Bildern und der Beschreibung. Unsere Internet-Probleme wurden schnell durch Alvur gelöst (der Empfang ist nicht der Beste aber ausreichend).

Ketty var meget ovenud behagelig at kommunikere med, samtidig meget overbærende, da vi var 9 gutter afsted, hvilket kan blive lidt højlydt til tider. Tak til Ketty og hendes mand for lån af deres hjem

We had an amazing time using Edith’s place as our home to explore the Faroe Islands. It was quiet and peaceful. The views while drinking our morning coffee were breathtaking. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and check in couldn’t have been easier. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Joruns house in Eiði. The house is located wonderful near the harbour with beautiful views on the water and surrounding mountains!

If this are looking for a place to stay within walking distance to all the best of Torshavn and yet far enough outside the main areas where driving is stressful, look no further! The flat was spacious, clean, and felt like home for our family of 4. We loved the view (and the sheep) from the window and the cozy feel of the flat. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the beds in the primary room have position control so you can set the sleeping position of your choice. The area is very quiet yet close to restaurants and a grocery store. We especially appreciated access to the washer and dryer. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals and make morning coffee. My kids appreciated the roasted nuts and snacks, which were a nice touch but the host. The hosts were very responsive and quickly helped me gain entry after my husband accidentally took the key hiking!

We loved staying at Benita’s place. Benita left us snacks and drinks upon arrival and was super responsive to any questions. The ocean view out the window was terrific, and the place was great to come back to after long days of walking, hiking, driving around the islands, etc. And it’s just a quick 5 minute drive into Torshavn, or a 20 minute walk. Everything was just as advertised!

Rent och fräscht boende med alla bekvämligheter man behöver. Några minuters promenad till närmaste matbutik och till centrum. Vi tänker oss att turister på Färöarna inte tar sovmorgon, det kan också upplevas svårt att göra eftersom det är väldigt lyhört i bostaden. Man hör alla fotsteg men för oss gjorde inte detta något, vi skulle ju kliva upp för att utforska öarna varje dag. Vi rekommenderar det här boendet. Trevlig värd och bra läge!

I loved Atli’s place. It is so lovely and comfortable. It has everything you need and a breathtaking view. Atli is also a welcoming and helpful host. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation for anybody visiting the Faroe Islands.

very cute, great location, super clean, easy to access and amazing view. The only down side was we had a hard time keeping hot water in the shower but the kitchen always had hot water...wasn't that big of a deal for us though.

Io e mia moglie abbiamo trascorso 6 giorni in questo splendido appartamento. Molto pulito e funzionale. Tanto spazio, Cucina ben attrezzata, tanti elettrodomestici, una grande Smart TV, ma soprattutto vista stupenda. La posizione è ottima per visitare le Isole Faroe, in poco tempo si può raggiungere la capitale è tutte le isole. Non ci sono molti ristoranti vicino, per quelli bisogna spostarsi nella capitale che comunque dista solo 30 minuti. A 10 minuti c’è un supermercato ben fornito. Raccomandiamo questo appartamento a tutti quelli che vogliono godersi la pace delle Isole Faroe con una posizione strategica ma anche super tranquilla.

Solva was a great host! Place was absolutely perfect for us and we could walk to everything in town. Solva was very helpful with recommendations and tips for things to do. We got to see a B36 game and that was definitely a highlight. Thank you Solva for a great stay! would definitely come back here.
