Omg, I don’t have the words for how awesome this place is. First, it is exactly what you see in the pictures and more. Second, it’s not far from anything and third, it’s so peaceful. I could get lost in pure bliss there. Weather I was in the hot tub, the porch, at the table on the deck, the fire pit, the dock, or even just sitting on the beach collecting rocks. Absolute Heaven. I’ve even told the rest of my family that next time we go to Michigan, we’re going to Traverse City and we’re staying at this house. Absolutely amazing. Thank you so much. Thank you!

I booked this beautiful home after my first reservation and host cancelled on me due to the storms. Well, I can say… we are so happy with our stay. It was exactly as described and even better than expected. April really is a one of a kind host, so good that I had to take notes for my own Air bnb adventure. She thought of everything! I’ve never had a better stocked kitchen. We always cook and make a big meal and we sure did not want for anything. We were even greeted with a local baked good and extra sheets and blankets for the dogs. These hosts were the best I’ve had in Michigan, if not the whole country. I’m thankful for people who truly consider someone’s stay and thinks of it all. Thank you again to the hosts. The Cabin was spotless and one of my favorite features was the deer lights.

Host Robert, was very responsive with any issues we had. We were in town for my sisters’ funeral, and it was extremely difficult for me. Unbeknownst to me my 3 brothers and nieces and nephews thought that they would bring food over to us because I was in a not in a good state of mind. They felt I needed people around me and needed to eat. The host Rob, was concerned with the amount of people that were there and clearly stated in the rules of limit of people and reached out to me and very kindly reminded us of the rules. I instructed my family to please go back to their Airbnb’s. I am very apolojetic for putting our host in that position. I would highly recommend this Airbnb. Very beautiful. This was the perfect setup for a little weekend getaway with a 6-year-old and our pup. The place was cute, the firepit was enjoyable, the area was beautiful, we felt we had enough privacy and everything we needed was included. We also used the guest passes to the community facilities to swim and enjoy the hot tub - excellent facilities there as well. We loved our weekend!

Kathleen was a very responsive and communicated well. Her place was exactly as described in the description. It was a very nice cabin, perfect for a couple families to enjoy themselves without being right on top of each other. The hot tub was especially nice after a long day on the ski hill! Would definitely stay here again in the future! Thanks for such a nice cabin and great experience!

Wow... Such a beautiful spot to wind down. Came for my husband's birthday weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better spot! Sarah was super sweet and helpful. House had ALL the amenities we needed too. We COOK on trips due to food sensitivities and the kitchen was very well equipped! House was spotless and very charming. Located on a beautiful large lake. We would certainly come back in a heartbeat!

We booked this cabin for a nice little relaxing girls getaway and it was just that! Located in a very quiet neighborhood. The cabin itself was very nice and clean. Only snafu was the neighborhood was without power for several hours one evening (obviously not fault of the host). I would recommend this cabin to others and would definitely return. We had a great stay at Ben's place! We had a slight issue with getting inside initially, but Ben responsed within a matter of minutes and took care of it promptly! The cottage and area was just as described and had everything that we needed. We spent our days visiting some of the nearby cities which were a short drive away such as Traverse City, Bellaire, and Charlevoix and enjoyed unwinding in the evenings by the dock area. We especially loved the Cherry Street Market in Kalkasa and enjoyed Moose and Stella's Cafe in town for breakfast. The neighborhood was very quiet, friendly and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay very much and Ben is a great host!

The Blue Gill Cottage was a beautiful place to spend Memorial Day weekend with our family! The location is so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the beautiful lakefront view, kayaking and fishing during the day and bonfires at night! Barbara was a wonderful host who was quick to respond with any questions we had. We highly recommend! We plan on many more visits in the future!

I wish I would have booked my stay for longer, and I had this place booked for two months. The privacy and views here and around, are unmatched and for the rates it is a no-brainer. There are trails within minutes and plenty of places to set off in a kayak or canoe. Lakes galore. Plenty of fun summer activities. The hosts were very kind and polite, and spoke to me like I was a person rather than a tenant for any amount of time. Best AirBnB experience I have ever had. Thank you guys. Hopefully I can make it back again sometime

This place was amazing! Perfect for a family of 10 plus two pups. This house had everything you needed and more! It had all the water toys, games for family night, fishing poles and chairs to surround the fire at night with everyone. The dock was perfect to stand for hours to fish and catch any quantity and quality of fish. My family and I were amazed with our stay in an air bnb. I highly recommend this place to stay in, and we’re already planning our next trip here. Evelyn was very helpful, tentative and warned us of storms heading our way. We really appreciate everything.

We felt right at home and was the perfect place to take our dogs for their first vacation. Beautiful lakefront and walkable to the local bar/restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.

We had a fantastic stay at this lakeside gem! The house was spotless, and the instructions for check-in were clear and easy to follow. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect for our visit. The game room provided hours of fun for our group, and the kayaks were a wonderful touch for exploring the lake. Saturday morning on the water was absolutely picture-perfect—calm, serene, and stunningly beautiful. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, fun, and peaceful retreat by the lake!

This was our second time staying at Jennifer's place. We absolutely love it! It is perfect for our family of 4. A short walk down the driveway and you are at a park, beach, and fishing dock. The beach is great! The water is clear and no seaweed. My son and I caught small blue gills at the fishing dock, and my daughter loves the park. Also, be sure to check out The Depot (10 min walk) for ice cream and pizza! Well be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lily Pad Cottage. The surroundings were peacefull and serene. We enjoyed the beauty of nature everyday. We saw Orioles & hummingbirds, bunnies, a mama deer with her fawn, a snake, frogs, a loon on the lake. We fished, we kayaked. We enjoyed the beauty of Bass Lake. The cottage was very cozy. We especially enjoyed the sun porch and its beautiful views. Patti has a great response time. We had one small issue and it was fixed within an hour.

Great home to host our work girls trip. We had a relaxing weekend with the wood fireplace and watched movies. Boyne is about an hour away so it was a beautiful scenic drive. Beds are super comfortable with lots of space. Kitchen well equipped with everything needed.

The cabin was very clean and homely was very satisfied with the amities and the surrounding area was very quiet.Nichole was a great host.

My husband and I and our two girls had a wonderful time. The girls loved the loft area. Beautiful fall colors. We went to the Charlevoix Apple Fest while in town, and found some petoskey stones as well. Highly recommended wood shop social restaurant in Mount Pleasant. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay, the place is for those looking for peace, tranquility and rest! The cabin is beautiful, perfect, just like the ones I saw in the movies when I was a child! The lake is beautiful, my husband had fun fishing and rowing the boat. I highly recommend it for spending some quality time.

From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. We really appreciated the coffee and snacks Wendy had on hand since we hadn’t been to the store yet. The place is very cozy and comfortable. My husband had to be on some work calls so we really appreciated the fast WiFi. Overall, we had a great stay and we absolutely stay here again.
