Located in the city center of Cape Town, 91 Loop is just a stroll away from Long Street and Green Market Square. The chic hostel has a 24-hour front desk, a restaurant and bar and a courtyard with outdoor seating.

With minimalistic and modern design, the hostel offers en-suite private and dormitory rooms.

The trendy and bistro-style Honey Badger Bar & Restaurant is located on the ground floor and serves simple seasonal cuisine using locally sourced and fresh produce.

The space
For a little more luxury why not get a room all to share with your friends and loved ones. This en-suite family room sleeps up to four people and includes one king bed/two twin beds as well as one bunk bed - let us know which one you prefer when making your booking.

The Honey Badger is a trendy bistro in the heart of Cape Town with big wooden windows to the street allowing you to feel the pulse of the city and its peaceful rhythm. Serving locally sourced (where we can) produce, fresh and seasonal cuisine we aim to provide you with an incomparable experience. No detail is too small, and this is ably illustrated in everything from the bespoke, designed décor to the hand selected Deluxe barista brewed coffee. Its relaxed atmosphere invites you to linger long after your meal. The Honey Badger is a great way to spend the night!

Situated right in the heart of Cape Town we re situated in a melting pot of contemporary cultural attractions, the traditional tourist spots and probably one of the most densely packed areas for great food situated between the traditional tourist spots of Long Street and modern and more local Bree Street we have it all nearby and are ideally situated to start your trip to surrounding areas such as the Garden Route or the desolate and beautiful West Coast and Namibia.

91 Loop was conceived, as all good ideas are, late one night in a similar hostels bar in Sydney. Four friends from very different parts of the world decided that Cape Town would be the best spot to open a modern, design orientated youth hostel. 6 Months later the team was in Cape Town searching for just the right spot. We found a quite derelict and feral building that needed some love right in the heart of the City just as the beginning of the City Centre's revitalization period. After a few months, a few set backs and a few headaches we opened in December 2015, Subsequent to that we inaugurated our second floor exactly one year later in December 2016. The Transformation has been uncanny, But you will have to see that for yourself ;)

Our Management Team is youth orientated, with almost the entire team under 30. We believe this coupled with the energy and vibrancy of our location allows us to give one of the most dynamic, exciting and genuine accommodation experiences in Cape Town We Look forward to meeting you!
