The Poplar room has its name because the entire room is trimmed with poplar hardwood flooring and paneling. The room has a wonderful king size bed and a private bath with 2 person whirlpool tub and separate shower.

The manor has many wonderful gathering areas to relax and enjoy.

Guest access
Although we make you breakfast each morning guests have access to our gourmet kitchen with 2 prep islands, massive 6 burner 2 oven stove with 24 inch griddle for the other meals you might want to make. You will have use of the guest full size refrigerator. There is a separate ice maker for your ice needs. For cleanup we have 2 Kenmore dishwashers. All the pots, pans, dishware and silverware you'll need so you don't need to buy paper plates the plastic ware. The extensive library with a nice assortment of books, games and movie DVD's. There is also a karaoke machine available too.

Fitzgerald Manor is committed to the health and safety of our guests. You will always have less exposure to others than you would at bigger hotels. We continue to meet or exceed the highest standards recommended by the Minnesota Department Health and follow all CDC guidelines to keep you safe.
Additionally, we have implemented the following Stay Safe procedures to ensure you will feel safe when you stay with us:
• We are only open from Friday (check-in) – Tuesday (check-out) allowing for only 2-night stays thus insuring between 3-5 days between guests to perform thorough cleaning of the bedrooms.
• We are not using bedspreads or decorative pillows.
• We are seating guests at least 6 feet apart during breakfast.
• We are wearing masks and gloves when preparing your food and taking care of you.
• We are doing extra cleaning between guests and extra sanitizing of common areas during the day.
• Daily Housekeeping, towel exchange and trash removal available on request
We have a huge pole building so we can get your motorcycles, boat or snowmobiles out of the weather. We have a fire pit area and we can set that up for you with plenty of wood to burn through the night.
