Lovely place - definitely recommend. Central location for horta & a 10 minute taxi from airport.

We felt completely comfortable in the accommodation. We didn't lack anything. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired, the communication was smooth and the view of the Pico and the Atlantic was simply breathtaking.

Very nice and well-kept house, very nice and kind host, always available for anything. The area is very quiet, five minutes from a beautiful beach and very easy to find. We hope to return

Wow wow wow! Thank you Júlio for a wonderful stay. The studio cottage is gorgeous and offers a private reprieve with stunning oceanfront views. Highly recommend spending some time in the natural pool that is just a short walk away, and leisurely breakfasts & dinners on the terrace overlooking the beautiful surroundings. Could not recommend more!

Came here for 6 days peace and quiet break, beach & bars/restaraunts walkable. (On quiet roads) Near to airport, Mt Pico & Unisco World heritage area. Nice balcony/garden to chill on with great views of Mt Pico & Sao Jorge

There were six of us in Casa Comprida for a week. The house is a bit off the beaten track and therefore very quiet. From the airport, it was still only 20 minutes by car. The house was just right for our needs. There was a nice, impeccable equipment and we also had enough space for six. The view from the terrace is especially beautiful. Upon arrival, we noticed that the coffee maker was not working properly. Our host Zilda was always easily accessible and responded in no time. So, we had a new, working coffee maker the very next day. In addition, Zilda was very keen to ensure that we had a pleasant stay and always thought of our well-being. We were completely satisfied and can highly recommend the house, especially for a family vacation!

We love the house. Marcelo was very friendly and hospitable. He welcomed us with a bottle of white wine, a loaf of bread, a big chunk of cheese, and a big bottle of water. He has provided lots of information regarding restaurants and sights. The house is very conveniently located. It is near the airport, close by to the ferry station and wine museum and restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks!

Great place if you search a calm and quiet place. Everything was well prepared!Especially suited for families with kids. A bit hard to reach so you should definitely rent a car to make the best out it.

Filipa was very friendly, the place very nice and the kitchen is well stocked. Since it was a little fresh, the air conditioning quickly provided warmth. As a welcome, Filipa even had butter, bread and milk ready for us. That was extremely nice.

Monica was flexible when we had to twice ask to change our dates. The apartment is intriguing, a mix between 150-year-old building, but with a very modern, spotless interior. The location is beyond brilliant, steps away from Porto Pim beach and restaurants and a three-minute walk from the marina and downtown. We'll be back next year!

Compact but very pleasant modern apartment with a good terrace. There are 2 other apartments attached, plus the owners place next door, but it felt very private. Like most places in the Azores they haven't discovered Smart TV yet. The kitchen is minimally outfitted, but functional The walk up to the front door from the street is a bit of a haul if you have lots of luggage or groceries. The shower has no soap, so come prepared. Finally, the living room would be a little tight for more than 2 guests. Property managers were quite helpful in getting us in at the last moment after our flight was canceled. We felt the property was comfortable and well designed - recommended!

This house was a lovely spot only 2 minutes from Horta marina. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook meals in the evenings. Sandra was an amazing host - very responsive and flexible. Thanks Sandra!

Paula’s place was perfect for our stay in Madalena. It was walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go and the space itself was very clean and comfortable.

It was our 3rd stay at Agostinhas place, very good location 2 mins from the main Street, very quiet, beautiful garden, nicely decorated flat with lots of history of Faial. The host family is fantastic all around. We will be back next year!
