Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Horta

Bruna was great and even allowed to stay late for our later flight.

We had a wonderful time with Jörg and Plonja! The reception was warm, the communication super uncomplicated. Everything was exceptionally clean - we have not experienced any other accommodation in the Azores that was so well maintained. The beds are very comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen are great, the outdoor area with pool, sauna and sea view is a dream. Despite the proximity of the hosts, you have full privacy. We very much enjoyed our stay in this Airbnb above Madelena. It was a great choice to stay on the outskirts. Stunning view from the house: lovely to spend time outside with a book or just watching the sun set over the ocean and island. The house itself is very comfortable and had everything we needed.

We felt incredibly lucky to stumble upon (& get to book) Jorge’s summer family home: there is not a better view of Horta in the entire area! We loved having our mornings & evenings overlooking the gorgeous bay & town. There were many evenings we had dinner at home instead of out because we knew we could not beat that front yard! We never met Jorge, but he was so warm & responsive we felt like we knew him. His recommendations were terrific (do go to Peter’s Sport Cafe- the food is excellent & the Gin & Tonic, per their & Jorge’s recommendation, is so smooth & to die for ((& we aren’t even cocktail people)). The house was great; we only had one minor issue, & Marco & Carla, the caretakers, (who are such kind, wonderful people), handled it perfectly. We loved Faial so much! Definitely hike the volcanoes, & go to O Moro Quijeria for the best cheese in the world (seriously!). We certainly recommend this house to others & plan to rent it again ourselves :)

It was a house where we immediately felt at home. Beautiful view of the ocean and a beautiful garden. Zilda was very friendly and always available when we had questions. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back.

We had a fantastic time at George's. It's in a wonderful location, steps from beautiful Porto Pim on one side, and central Horta on the other. We loved sitting on the rooftop patio as the sun set spectacularly, with a view of both the beach and the city. Highly recommended! George was very responsive and his manager Filipa was super friendly when we asked if we could drop off our luggage early as we had arrived a few hours before check-in time. We ended up being let in early, which made such a huge difference to our overall experience. The only regret is that we didn't stay longer than we did, obrigado George & Filipa!

A great spot among the vineyards that is five minutes drive to Madalena and ten minutes to the Pico airport. Good A/C in the rooms. Nice sized kitchen. Comfortable beds. And a nice covered patio for being outside. Thank you!

We enjoyed the house of Montserrat enormously. House is very warmly decorated and equipped with all necessities. Montserrat is very friendly in communication and helpful in solving a problem. The view is also stunning. I highly recommend the house to explore Faial!

Compact but very pleasant modern apartment with a good terrace. There are 2 other apartments attached, plus the owners place next door, but it felt very private. Like most places in the Azores they haven't discovered Smart TV yet. The kitchen is minimally outfitted, but functional The walk up to the front door from the street is a bit of a haul if you have lots of luggage or groceries. The shower has no soap, so come prepared. Finally, the living room would be a little tight for more than 2 guests. Property managers were quite helpful in getting us in at the last moment after our flight was canceled. We felt the property was comfortable and well designed - recommended!

Beautiful sea view from the house over to Pico. We liked to be outside town and amongst the local community. There is a convenience shop and a bar close by. We had to walk quite a bit to access other shops so better to have a car as public transport is not very regular. We loved to go swimming in the natural sea water pools about 15/20 minutes walk from the house. And the bed was comfortable!

Andreia was a great host and gave me many useful information for my stay in Pico. The location is a perfect starting point to explore the island.

This apartment is so roomy and comfortable! Three couples can easily stay here and have an easy stay. The eat-in kitchen is large and very-well appointed. Enormous windows overlook the town, bay and Pico; they also have lightblocking shades when the sun gets too hot. The walk to town center is close but it is up a hill (that gives you the view!). Maria Teresa is a wonderful host and was very responsive with a last-minute request. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.

This guesthouse is situated about 10 minutes drive outside Horta and the wow factor is huge. If the volcano is visible on Pico you are treated to a magnificent and unforgettable view. The apartments are clean and comfortable! I’d stay here again!

We selected this unit because we wanted something close to the mountain, a nice town, and some wineries. This unit served all those needs. The unit was easy to find and access, but does have privacy from the street. There were some convenient street parking spots right in front, plus a whole other street you could park on nearby if you needed it (all free). Everything felt safe and laid back. There is also a supermarket a 10 minute walk away, great for cheaper items. Getting to the town square is a 10 minute walk. The unit was very clean and comfortable. More than spacious for two people. The kitchen has utensils and pots/pans for light duty cooking. The clothes washer worked great and super useful (as well as helping us pack lighter with less clothes). If you take hot showers, give the water tank 15 minutes between showers to replenish. Lastly, Paula was fantastic and very helpful. This was a fantastic place that helped us make great Pico memories, definitely recommend it!

Ola Agostina! We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious, and perfectly located—just a short walk from everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the accommodation looked exactly like the photos, if not better. Agostinha Maria was a truly exceptional host—kind, generous, and attentive. She welcomed us with everything we could possibly need for breakfast: fresh eggs, bread, jam, butter, fruit, cheese, coffee, and even two bottles of wine as a delightful bonus. Her thoughtful hospitality made us feel right at home. She also shared fantastic local dining recommendations and gave us access to a fully equipped summer kitchen, which added to the charm of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed getaway.
