Beautiful home with plenty of space! Loved the setup of the bunk room, quite creative. We didn't know the pool wasn't open yet, which was a bummer, but Garry called and provided other entertainment options, going above and beyond. Turned out to be a rainy weekend anyway. Lots to do, inside and out. We even caught some BIG fish in the pond. Pickleball was a big hit, even in the rain. Highly recommend.

Close to the airport and close to the restaurants and bars around. From the moment I walked in, I knew I made the right decision on staying here. The private balcony was a nice bonus.

Andy’s space provided functionality in a quiet area! First the communication was impeccable and timely. Every question or concern that I had was answered efficiently. There was plenty to do from gameplay to pool time with ample room for extra miscellaneous activities you would want to bring along. There is a family grill, which is a necessity for a getaway because who doesn’t love to barbecue? Everything that you would need was very easy accessible. The home was clean, big, and beautiful for my family and I. I would definitely attend again if the future permits!

This home was the perfect reprieve for a one night stay to break up a long drive down I-65 to the Gulf Coast for our large family. The lot has so many amenities for young kids (playground, basketball, soccer, scooters, zip-line, pool, etc.). The quaint residence is spotless and very well designed. It feels like a little hidden summer camp, even though plenty of amenities (restaurants, etc.) are nearby. We’ll definitely stay here again.

You really can’t beat this location. Being right in the heart of Birmingham with access to a pool and some of the city’s best food made the stay unforgettable. The host was responsive and welcoming. Great place, great vibes — highly recommend!

Taajah was a wonderful host with a beautiful home. It was very clean, comfortable and was perfect for what we needed! Very peaceful neighborhood! We stayed a full week for baseball. We were able to enjoy the pool, cook dinner ourselves and we were very close to shopping. Taajah’s instructions and descriptions were very clear and easy to understand. Highly recommend booking with Taajah if you are staying in the Hoover area!

We had another great stay at Eagle’s Nest! The house had everything we needed, and the lake view is beautiful. We enjoyed the outdoor and indoor games, kayaks, and fire pit. Looking forward to next time!

The home was wonderful! The location was perfect for attending the SEC tournament in Hoover. Close to retail and grocery stores. Felt very safe in the neighborhood.

Great location with plenty of room for my family. House was well maintained and stocked with all the extras (blankets, towels, pillows, air matress). Enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. We did get to see several of the wild turkeys which the kids though were pretty cool.

Mary accommodated us at the spur of a moment and even at a late time! We had no intentions of renting an Airbnb but there were no hotels to accommodate my family of six. Honestly, the best thing that could have happened was to not be accommodated by the hotels. I’d much rather have this experience anyhow. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and such a peaceful place outside of town but close enough to get to many places within five to ten minutes. Thank you, Mary! We appreciate you!

5 Stars – Perfect Spot for a Golf Getaway or Group Trip! My friend and I stayed at Chris’s Airbnb in Birmingham for a 3-night, 4-day golf trip and had a fantastic experience. The home is located in an older neighborhood, but we had no issues at all with safety during our stay. In fact, the location was very convenient—close to golf courses, restaurants, and grocery stores. The house was very clean, appeared recently updated, and had plenty of space. It would be great for larger groups or families. One of the highlights was the downstairs entertainment area—it was a really cool space to relax after a long day on the course. Chris was an outstanding host. His communication was excellent from start to finish, and he generously allowed us to check in early. As a thoughtful touch, he left a handwritten welcome note along with golf balls and tees, knowing we were in town for a golf getaway. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Birmingham—especially for golf trips or group stays.

Our daughter's wedding was at the Barn at Shady Lane just right across the road. It was convenient not only to the venue but to some great restaurants and even a Publix grocery store up the road. We would recommend this place to family and friends even if there was not wedding going on for them. Norman was an excellent host and communicated very well. Good guy.

Needed a quiet and comfortable house for an important event at a nearby park. Caroline's house fit perfectly. Quiet and comfortable is everything this house is and what we needed. The master bed was particularly comfortable. This location was very close to all the good restaurants and was only a 20 min drive to the park. Caroline was super responsive and was great about everything. I would stay at this location again.

This property was just as described. Very nice. Secluded with wooded surroundings. VERY quiet. Lots of room. Snacks, water, and a variety of Keurig pods were provided. The internet service was disrupted by a storm two days before arrival. Alice advised of the problem and offered cancellation but we decided to keep the reservation. While service was not fully restored during our stay, Alice refunded a portion of the fee - pleasant surprise. I would stay at this property again without hesitation.

One of the nicest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. I was here on a work trip with four people, and the space was perfect. With four bathrooms, getting ready each day was effortless—no waiting, no stress. From the moment we walked in, the place was set up beautifully. It honestly felt like stepping into a day spa—calm, clean, and just an immediate sense of relaxation. It set the tone for an amazing stay. We absolutely loved this place. Highly recommend!

If anyone misses out on Cordell listing, their heart should be broken. He was top tier. Every time I reached out to him, he answered the phone or replied to a message right away. I will definitely book with him again. The distance from downtown and local attractions was 10 minutes or less.

Wendy’s place was great. Location was perfect for us. Close to restaurants and interstate which was a plus. We were staying with our son for a tournament at Hoover Met and it was very convenient and about 15 minutes away which was awesome for us. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

We stayed at Hammocks Rest for a week during our daughter's wedding. It is a unique house that has been tastefully decorated. There is a farm house charm with an elevated feel. The rooms a spacious as we never felt cramped even with all the wedding accessories in tow Having a bedroom with a bathroom and shower on the main level was perfect for my elderly mother. She only had two steps to get into the home. The host was understanding and went above and beyond to accommodate us. There is a back patio with large table that worked well for sharing a meal. We took advantage of a relaxing front porch sitting as well. There is a peaceful area in the trees for a private vespers. We enjoyed staying at Hammock Rest and am glad our stay was long enough to appreciate the home and the work and details the owner has done to make this an extra special location.

the little prince house exceeded all my expectations. the views were breathtaking, and the space was incredibly quiet, open, and serene. the lush backyard was like a hidden oasis—greens everywhere. every corner felt intentional, with little gems to discover. i especially enjoyed playing with the musical instruments tucked around the space. this is a perfect spot for solo getaways or intimate group retreats to reset and clear your mind. highly recommend.
