On the (quieter) West side of town and just a 5 minute drive to our amazing downtown with all the shops, restaurants and wineries you desire.

Downtown White Salmon Garden Home, 4mi from HR

Our Garden Home is a large, private 2-bedroom daylight basement with beautiful views of Mt. Hood. The exterior has its own very private garden area with lush vegetation and lots of shade, a covered patio to relax and stay cool, and a BBQ for those summer dinners outside . The 1,400sq ft space is flooded with light from the many windows on the east, south and west sides, and always stays very fresh and comfortable all year round, it is one of the nicest daylight basements to be found :)

***IMPORTANT***From December - April we maintain access to the basement apartment unit from Friday-Sunday (ski season!). This is an entirely separate unit with separate entrances. There are no spaced spaces. There will be no interaction. If you're OK with this, please proceed! Imagine relaxing in the hot tub under the stars listening to the seasonal stream babble below!

Little Avalon

This newly upgraded family cottage has been a comfortably living accommodations for our kids and parent when needed. We were able to upgrade it with new floors, bathroom and kitchen for our new Airbnb guest to come stay and enjoy our wonderful Gorge. In this setting you are surrounded by the locals and we are just a 1/4 of an acre away. The kitchen has all the amenities and if you don't like coffee the quick way there is a coffee pot and french press for your coffee desires.

This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.
