The Miller Hale is the perfect base for exploring, as it is located: -15 min from South Point -20 min from Punalu'u Beach -40 min from Volcanoes National Park -65 miles from Kona Airport -70 miles from Hilo Airport Drive times vary and a good part of the highway is 35 miles per hour. Please keep this in mind before you book.

Island style Hawaiian home is expansive, bright, and open, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. With great ocean views. Located in a rural area on 1 acre of fenced in private land. Quiet and peaceful. 1 hour 15 min from Kona and same from Hilo. Best to get supplies in Kona or Hilo as no grocery stores in Na'alehu. Is 40 minutes to the Volcano Ntl. Park and 15 min to the Punaluu Black Sand Beach, 15 min to South Point and Green Sands Beach. There is no Wi-Fi ~ cell service works great in the area.

This little cabin is so cozy, it's like your home away from home. You will find most everything you will need while staying here. I had a great stay at Mark’s place! He was very responsive and helpful throughout my visit. The space itself is beautiful—high ceilings, very spacious, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything was set up to make me feel right at home. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others! Also, we stayed 4 nights and found local hidden gem places that we could enjoy. Location is very private and quiet which is loved it.

Beautiful house with tasteful furnishing. A bit cramped if the tv is pulled out because the tv is set up on a rollable cabinet but still very beautiful and comfortable place to use as base for exploring the volcano national park. Host is friendly and communicative.

Cozy quiet Hawaiian style condo that’s far from the crowds in Kona and Hilo but close enough to Na alehu or Pahala if you want to drive in for a coffee or a meal. An easy half mile walk (or drive) to the beautiful black sands beach and just a 30 minute drive to volcano national park. If you want to get lost in the islands, but do it comfortably this is the spot! Perfect couples get away. Dana and Steve were wonderful hosts and loaded me up with plenty of ideas and tips to enjoy the stay

If you want peaceful, beautiful, far from the crazy crowds of Kailua accommodations, Glenn's charming Chameleon Suite is for you. He is an attentive and very informative host, whocan provide you with a wealth of knowledge about sites to see and dinning options. Everyplace that we eat at that he recommended were superb. He is a botanical wizard whose land is truly a garden of earthly delights. Be prepared to do some driving to reach some of the attractions and dining spots, but it is well worth it. We would love to return.

A cute and well-equipped Airbnb that had all the things we needed. Andrew was proactive in sharing the instructions and the google pin with us. We even spotted peacocks in the morning, which was a bonus. Definitely recommend this homely Airbnb!!!
