Holiday rentals with a kayak in Honeoye Lake

Can’t say enough about how wonderful this home is. Bigger than I expected. Very clean and large open rooms. Lakeside with gorgeous views. Unfortunately it rained while we were there but the home was so comfortable we enjoyed our time with friends. Definitely more than enough space for our group of 8. Also plenty of parking spaces. I would absolutely stay here again!

Our group (4 adults) was staying overnight for an event the next day, and it worked very well for our needs. It is easy to get to and the town was quiet and had very little traffic. The living space was recently remodeled and was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was nice and allowed us to cook dinner and breakfast easily. I am a bit sensitive to fragrances, so the detergent or softener used on the bed linens bothered me at night, but no one else had any trouble with them, and everything was clean. Bathroom was well stocked and has a vent so it doesn't get too steamy. The only major issue I had is that I'm around 6'2" and the shower head was all the way down by my chin, and my head was almost entirely above the curtain. The tub is also quite a bit narrower than it looks in the pictures, with nothing to hold on to for balance. This makes for a really slow and awkward shower for anyone over 6 feet, but I managed. Host was great! Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Our stay on the lake was wonderful. The housing was perfect and met our needs. This would be a great house to rent during the summer months. WE had a little trouble locating the house initially as it is located among other houses and the drive down to the house is not clearly marked. If you are coming from the south you need to make a turn almost opposite the way you are coming into a steep drive to the housing. It needs to be better marked, maybe with an arrow and house number. The house could also us a little address sign on the walkway for clarification. HOWEVER, the stay was great and getting information to the person in charge was easy. The accommodations were very good. The view was wonderful. The water frontage is a bit steep but there are steps to bring you to the water. In all this is a wonderful home for vacation with amenities about 15 minutes away. I would give Nancy or Eric a call again.

We had a great stay on Conesus Lake, and would absolutely return again. Christopher’s home is great for a family or large group. Right on the lake, with plenty of room.

A beautiful home in quiet neighborhood with amazing water views. Large, spacious rooms. Comfortable seating & dining areas both with walls of windows to enjoy the lake views. Short walk to local beach & close to town for shopping, restaurants, entertainment & park. House is just as described & host is quick to respond with answers to any questions. Excellent place to stay for vacation.

Arunima’s house is beautiful and the view overlooking the lake gorgeous. We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Evenings sitting on the deck overlooking the lake were fantastic. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We stayed for a long weekend and it was just what we needed! The views of the lake were amazing and we had plenty of room in the house for our three families! The pool table, porches, lake area and outside kitchen were highlights! We enjoyed the peaceful and private setting and would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time staying at this cozy lake cottage! It was perfect for our party of 9 and we would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!

Great place on Kueka Lake near Penn Yan. My family loved the place , the hosts make their rentals feel like you’re in your own home while you are there. Great fishing right off shore this part of the lake ! Hope to keep renting from these guys in the future.

We had an amazing stay at The Checkered Duck. We highly recommend this home, Robyn is a wonderful hostess. The location is great for visiting vineyards, beautiful lake view.

Jason’s cozy bungalow had everything we were looking for in a quick weekend getaway from Rochester- quiet and peaceful setting with a view of Honeyoye Lake at the end of the street, a perfectly appointed kitchen, and all the little details we loved about the listing. I can imagine it’s even better in the summer! The home was spotless when we arrive so we could get right to relaxing. Definitely recommend .

We don’t have enough words for how much we loved our stay! It had a little bit of every possible thing we could ask for during a fall stay for our mini-moon!! We fished, we hiked, we kayaked, we had a bonfire, went in the sauna everyday- perfect! The home is better than the pictures! We can’t wait to visit their home again :)

We had an amazing stay at “The Lake”! The house was spotless, and the quiet atmosphere made for a truly relaxing getaway. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming, and the games provided endless fun for both kids and adults—Scrabble nights and life-size Jenga were highlights! It was the week before Labor Day weekend, and the lake was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Renting a boat made it feel like we had the whole lake to ourselves, which was a fantastic bonus. We loved the short drive to Harriet State Park for stunning views and hikes, and Mill Street Cafe became our go-to for breakfast and evening ice cream. The thoughtful welcome gift and note from our hosts made us feel right at home. We even spotted bald eagles and enjoyed breathtaking views of the Milky Way on clear nights. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at this beautiful lake house. While there are close neighbors, they are quiet and the lakefront area feels very private thanks to the trees. The kayaking and rowboat were a lot of fun. The house has quality furnishings and newer appliances. When we had a concern arise (through no fault of the owners), Mary responded immediately even though it was nearly 10 pm. She made the situation right as soon as humanly possible (first thing in the morning) and her husband actually drove all the way from Pennsylvania to check in with us, though we didn't ask or expect this. While he was there he also installed a new lakefront ladder and chatted with us about area attractions. I highly recommend this home and especially these hosts, who truly care about their guests' experience.

The cottage was just beautiful..right on the water. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen ready to set up housekeeping. Brochures available for area activities. The 1 bed available is able to sleep around 6 people ..lol.. the bed was very comfortable. There are other pull outs for sleeping.

Very friendly, responsive, and proactive host - thanks AJ! Perfect location for relaxing and get away with stunning water view! Peaceful and tranquil neighborhood. Property has all amenities a large family need, with spacious rooms/baths, and lakeview! It was cold when we stayed, otherwise, would have gone out to the lake with the kayaks! Super-sized terrace with screen is perfect for staying outside without worrying about bugs and rains. Nice boat launching deck with crystal clear water and view of there the three lakes meet. Close to Corning Museums of Glasses that is a must visit if you are around! So is Cornell Campus in Ithaca - yes, I am biased as an alumni :) ). Highly recommended and will be back.

My husband and I went for R & R, and The Bear Camp was perfect! The first thing you see when you open the door is the lake! The views are incredible! While it is relatively small(1 bedroom), it lives large. There are multiple decks with places to sit and an open floor plan inside. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We went in October and enjoyed the fall foliage. We would highly recommend The Bear Camp! One note of caution: there are stairs from road to cabin and from cabin to lake

We were in the area for a concert at The Point Of The Bluff. The location was perfect as it was a short drive to the venue and it also is not far from Hammondsport which we love to go to. The house is located back in the woods, which is very peaceful and has, a great view of the lake. The driveway is long and there was one spot there was pretty muddy so I was glad I brought my four-wheel-drive truck. The house itself is lovely with a large Open floor plan with vaulted ceilings in the living room kitchen area. Our favorite part was the large back deck. They had a nice couch as well as the large table for dining. The views were amazing and we made sure we got up early to watch the sunrise on the lake. As other people have mentioned, there is an odor with the sulfur water, but it was nothing that would keep us from coming back. We would definitely come back to this spot again in the future.

Great little spot by beautiful Lake Conesus. Convenient location, the space was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a few day stay! Donald was great with communication and quick to respond when we needed the heat turned on. Recommended!

My time here was very relaxing and worthwhile! The cabin was cute, cozy, and the land was beautiful. I loved sitting by the pond and having my morning coffee. If you walk to the edge of the woods in the morning, you can see spectacular sunrises because of how high in the valleys you are. I came during spring before things bloomed, but I would totally come here again during the fall or summer.

Lynda’s place looked just like the photos. Very clean and nicely decorated with great amenities. I loved the personal touches with the fresh flowers and welcome basket. It was very peaceful with beautiful view of the lake. Even though it was a little chilly and rainy during our visit we still got to sit outside on the dock and enjoy the views. We would definitely book again!

Great place to unwind for a weekend in a remote private location in the woods. If you’re looking for peace and quiet or to just get away for a while this is the perfect place. Our dog was in heaven wandering through the various trails tracking all the different smells. We came up in the winter with the ground covered in snow. Even though it was extremely cold outside we were toasty and cozy with the wood stove going. Would definitely come back again!

Great spot, very clean, well furnished / stocked. If renting make sure to note they do not provide linens or towels, which I found a bit unusual for a water front rental, but it is clear in the listing. Would happily rent again.

Everything was like the description. We enjoyed our time getting away to relax.
