Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Honduras

I am really appreciative of Talia accepting my Puerta Azul reservation at the last minute. My flight was canceled on a carrier that flies yellow planes from San Pedro Sula which required me to book with the largest carrier in the world to get back to the United States. This caused me to desperately need a nice and comfortable place to stay at the last minute since my previous hotels were completely booked. Talia was able to prepare a delicious dinner for me at the last minute of coconut shrimp, rice, and salad which cost $23.00 for one person. She offered filtered mint water for dinner and breakfast and water in a pitcher within the room. The bed and linens were PERFECT!! I had a good nights rest before heading back to the USA. Talia even offers the option of having your clothes washed at Puerta Azul for the price of $10.00 per load. This is definitely a must stay if you are looking for a secluded peaceful location with free breakfast. I feel very lucky to have this opportunity and experience. Thank you!

René's cabin is a a perfect place to rest and escape from the noise city. It's clean, safe, and quiet. The temperature in Siguatepeque is nice. He is a great host. I highly recommend this place. Excellent to families with kids because they will enjoy to play in the tree house, wall climb and many more attractions. René's cabin is a perfect place to rest and escape the noise of the city. It is also excellent for families with children since it has treehouses, viewpoints, trails and many more attractions.

This was our second time at Puerta Azul and we once again loved every minute. We brought the kids this time and it was a great experience. It's hard to beat the convenience of walking right down the dock with our snorkeling gear and exploring the reef. The food was great and earned high praises from all 3 of our teenagers. Talia was great with arranging rides around town and taking care of all our needs. We highly recommend Puerta Azul and cant wait to come back.

Loved our stay at Puerta Azule! Everything was as described and expected. The staff was great - helpful and friendly. The included breakfasts were always delicious.

Puerta Azul was awesome! If you're looking for a peaceful spot in Roatan with excellent snorkeling than this is your spot. Snorkeling here easily beats West End and West Bay. Food at the restaurant was excellent! Head to the West End from here for a cheap cab ride to hit the bars and restaurants of Roatan, then return to the peacefulness of Puerta Azul. Will definitely be back!

comfortable, clean, cozy, nice atmosphere, quiet. everything clean, the manager always attentive to any doubt or question. we only had one problem with the shower, which they quickly resolved.

Puerta Azul is a lovely small hotel, on the beach, with easy access to great snorkeling. The Casita we stayed in was very attractive and surrounded by lovely gardens, and the long dock was a wonderful spot to watch the sunset. The staff were, without exception, very friendly and helpful. Having a restaurant on site was a big plus. There were no other restauramts in close walking distance but it is only a short taxi ride to West End where there are plenty of stores, restaurants etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Puerta Azul.

A beautiful place if you like nature, the cabins are very comfortable and clean, you sleep peacefully... Highly recommended!!

We had a very nice time for our two night stay. Hernan who was always on the property was very nice and attentive. The property is close to town, about 1 km on the road going towards Celaque, but preferable to go in a vehicle. The property has 5 cabins and they each have two full size beds, hot water and ceiling fan. Very quiet and cool at night. We had a great rest. It has a rustic feel to it but the interior was tile floor and beds and linens were new and clean. Would recommend if you're thinking about relaxing for a few days in Gracias. A beautiful place to relax, secluded from stress! All the staff is super attentive! a different experience for those who want to enjoy life in the countryside!

We had a very pleasant stay at this lodge. We didn’t know what to expect of Gracias, but we really needed a break in our journey towards El Salvador. Gracias is a lovely, small, not touristy (yet) village. We stayed for two nights at this lovely, clean lodge. Josue and his family are very friendly and willing to help you out all the time! Their son speaks English which was useful for us. The lodge is located in a quiet spot, but in walking distance of the village. Josue even dropped us of and picked us up with his car! They serve a typical breakfast in the nice and big garden. When you arrive by public transport, help the (motor)taxi then by finding this lodge through telling him the directions as you can see on Google Maps. Because when you give them the name of the hotel it might not work, as it’s a hidden gem.

The room is very nice, very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful and picturesque view. The hospitality with which you are welcomed and cared for is the best. We left delighted to get to know beautiful Santa Lucía.
