Located directly on the Homosassa River with Gulf Access. Remodeled home located in Old Homosassa. Almost an acre corner lot overlooking the huge bay. Large 2600 square foot, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths. The property has a screened lanai room, large BBQ patio, screened boathouse with a cleaning station on the dock with sink, ICE MACHINE, and open patio. Huge boat tie-up area. Truly a fisherman's paradise. You can fish right off the dock. Close to everything!!!! BOATLIFT IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR GUESTS.

Relaxing water view retreat. Our River House is located in a nature's paradise, and is an animal free property due to the owner’s and their families severe allergies. We are just 5 minutes from enjoying everything that Homosassa has to offer. We are off a canal that leads to a nature reserve and is about 3 miles to Monkey Island. Canoes are on property so you can explore the unobserved beauty of the river. Skiffs smaller than 17ft are best to dock in our canal that leads to the river.

There is a lovely covered patio where you can enjoy meals cooked in the fully stocked kitchen. There are two bedrooms that are both en-suite. For additional sleeping there is a sleeper sofa in the lounge. Access the Gulf of Mexico and Homosassa Springs. We will accommodate Dogs (up to two) but NO CATS... Owner is highly allergic. There is a $50 additional pet fee per stay.

Shannon’s place was so cozy!! It was so clean and decorated so well. The location was close to restaurants and being right on the canal was so convenient. We were able to paddle Monkey Island. Shannon was a phenomenal host. She made sure we were taken care of and was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

This was our second stay at Relaxing Retreat. We appreciated it even more the second time. As soon as you enter, a Florida vibe surrounds you and it's squeaky clean. Dana and Larry provide all the extras that make a stay super special..... like a welcome snack basket, all the kitchen and bathroom amenities you could ask for, a super clear and informative welcome binder and so much more. Communication from the start until the end was prompt, friendly and helpful. We hope to come again. Thank you!

I loved our stay. The drive down Ozello was so beautiful and it was very very cozy. Of course with the high temps we didn't spend too much time enjoying the outside spaces, but they were also well taken care of. We also had a close encounter with a beautiful peacock. He came right up to the porch. Very cool. Everything was clean and well stocked.

A beautiful old school Florida waterfront retreat. We did a fishing trip with a boat and it was perfect for us. Be aware that what they call the loft is really a common area that the other bedrooms connect with and that you have to go through to get to them. It's not a separate living space---it's really just beds in a family room. Fine for our purposes.

We had a great stay. It was very well stocked and comfortable. The owner even left some goodies that were a surprise. I had a few concerns about staying at a location only accessible by boat but it turned out great. It was a much needed relaxing getaway.
