Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Holualoa

Staying at this cloud forest Airbnb in Hawaii was an unforgettable experience. The home is spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything we needed—including a full kitchen and washing machine. The view from the top is absolutely stunning, with sweeping ocean vistas that made every sunrise and sunset magical. Tucked away in nature, it's peaceful and serene—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We loved having coffee on the lanai, surrounded by birdsong and misty trees. A truly special place—we’d love to return!

We can’t say enough about Jane’s place, and the incredible time we spent there. The home is lovely and exactly as described, well equipped, and a full stock of beach chairs, snorkels, etc., to make your stay special. The back deck - the one you see in the pictures - is so incredibly beautiful and relaxing. The first night we arrived it rained for a while in the late afternoon and the sounds of the tropical rainforest was like a concert of nature. And our friends the sheep were cute and loved eating the leaves from our hands. Jane and Jim are also some of the best AirBnb hosts we’ve ever had. We can not thank them enough for their responsiveness, flexibility, advice and for simply being two of the nicest people you will ever meet. We even fell in love with their little dog Bella, so much so that she came over the last evening and spent the whole night with us, cuddling on the couch and sleeping with us. We miss her already!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Cozy tiny house with all the necessary amenities. The peacefulness and serenity was a nice get away at the end of each day. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants to be able to escape away to seclusion after exploring the island and the bustle and bustle of the Kona and other attractions.

We had the dream family trip of a lifetime. The kids loved the pool—morning, noon and evening except when we went off on adventures. The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance of a rocky beach. The house was roomy and well stocked with two large, long dining tables, one indoors and the other on an enclosed porch outdoors. Perfect for family dining. Joe and Anna were lovely hosts, pleasant and informative. We’d definitely recommend this home to anyone.

Wonderful location, private with beautiful grounds. Loved watching the wildlife in the mornings. Kitchen was well stocked, had a bit of trouble with the stove, but finally figured it out. Everything looked exactly like the photos, so no surprises. Would definitely recommend, especially as the host was very helpful and responsive.

Very spacious, with a lot of amenities, laundry is a plus. The host provides a lot of extra, like oatmeal, soybeans milk, sun cream, bug spray. Great host!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. Playing outdoor games on the grass, sitting in the hottub, and lounging in the lanai were such delights. The house had everything a big family group might need for a week's stay in Hawaii, incliding a large bin full of high quality snorkel gear. And Paul was very accommodating of any additional requests we might have. The house, yard, and beighborhood are quite gorgeous - maybe even better than the photos suggested. And the sunsets over the ocean most nights were spectacular. We loved our time at this Kona Airbnb and greatly look forward to the next time we can stay there.

A great location, beautiful views, and a great host team.

Our family loved the house. There was plenty of space for everyone and the set up was perfect for our needs. We especially loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings and evenings, and falling asleep to the sound of the tree frogs. The location was a further from the ocean than we realized, but we enjoyed the lushness of the hilly terrain and would stay there again. Susan and Iris were very responsive when we reported a few minor appliance issues and it didn't impact our overall experience.
