Eidsfoss is a unique historical place where it feels like time has stood still for a few decades! Here you will find, among other things, Norway's oldest country shop, museum and two good eateries (Eidsfoss Gamle Kro and Eidsfos Hovedgård), as well as several small galleries and outlets. But most of all, come here to find peace and quiet and enjoy the beautiful nature here!

The guesthouse is from 1910 and was built as Eidsfos Verk's office. Since then the house was converted into a motel and has been Hovedgården's guesthouse in recent years.
