Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Holmes County

I've stayed in many Airbnbs. What stood out the most was the cleanliness of this house. It was clean without the overpowering smell of clean. The beds were comfortable. She provided coffee cake which was AMAZING! She even provided to-go containers to take home the cake we didn't eat. The setting was also nice. It sits on a farm and there are lots of farms in the surrounding area. We drove around the first night to see everything. There are many good places to eat in Sugarcreek, Walnut Creek and Millersburg, but if you want pizza, definitely get it from Charm Pizza. I'm still thinking about it. Overall, this stay was amazing!

A wonderful place with plenty of space for a multi generational family trip. Walking distance to excellent local general store and coffee shop. Super clean. A beautiful area with lots of Amish related activities and great restaurants. Would highly recommend this house for families.

We've stayed with Ruth many times, always an awesome experience! She's a great host and the home is always clean, comfortable and relaxing. Super location, convenient to all area attractions. We love staying at Ruth's!

Sara was very responsive as soon as we booked and was extremely easy to work with. The house is very clean, with a fenced in private yard, and a bonus of a lot of cable channels! Super close to walk into town and enjoy the shops. Private parking and cozy atmosphere, it felt very welcoming!

It was a perfect, cute, clean place for myself, daughter, & 2 daughter-n -laws! Plenty of cozy space to sit, relax, sleep, & eat at a table together! Plus having 2 bathrooms was great! We had everything we needed. (I did bring my own box of tissues, & glad I did!) Short walk to eating & shopping! Only drawback for us, was we couldn’t watch any local, in real time TV. (Dateline, 20/20, etc. Roku TV doesn’t provide it. We were able, with Amanda, the host’s help to get my daughter-n-laws streaming service, which gave us ample programming! All & all it was a good choice for us!!

There’s nothing better than taking a nice relaxing vacation down to the Amish country. this location was in the heart of the Amish country and just minutes away from all of the great places we’ve come to love and enjoy. When we walked in, it was just like the pictures beautiful all three floors laid out nice. my family enjoyed every inch of this house everything clean and pristine right down the street from Walnut Creek Cheese was simply a blessing being able to go grab items from the store and be back at the in no time. Can’t wait to go back and stay here again. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.

Chris was a wonderful hostess! Every thing was as they said, other than it was closer to the road than I expected. However, it is a superb location to explore the surrounding Amish countryside and towns. We would definitely stay there again should we return to the area. And Chris's coffee cake is delicious and moist!

This was such a beautiful weekend! A few noteworthy things were the views, the peace and quiet, how responsive the host was, flexible check in, and the relaxing fire pit on the rooftop. Only caution would be going up and down spiral staircases and staircase to the roof for anyone young, elderly, handicapped, etc.!… We had so much fun! Thank you for a lovely stay!

This is probably the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. My sister-in-law and I decided to have a girl’s weekend getaway from husband/fiancé and kids, and Amish Country was our first pick. We found several that caught our eye, but this one stood out. It is a centralized location, looked so pretty and peaceful, and the reviews were great. They were NOT WRONG! We were not disappointed. James was responsive and communicative before and during our stay to make sure everything was perfect and check-in was a breeze. The space was cozy, but spacious at the same time, and had plenty of amenities. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will be staying here again, every time we come to Holmes County! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would, and I know my sister-in-law would as well!

My friends and I stayed at the Urban Flat while visiting Holmes County for a weekend of thrift and antique shopping. The three of us had an amazing time. The location was perfect for what we planned to do. The flat was thoughtfully decorated, the kitchen was spacious and well-stocked with all the necessities, and the bathroom was large and so pretty! We especially appreciated the packaged snacks Alyssa left in the kitchen and the cold water and canned drinks in the fridge. The bed was so comfortable, and we didn't notice any of the street noise that others mentioned. We were planning to walk to Millersburg Brewing Company and some other spots right down the street from the flat, but it was cold and windy on Saturday and the flat was so cozy, so we stayed in Saturday night and had the best time enjoying the space and each other. We would definitely stay at the Urban Flat again!

We had a nice stay! Definitely appreciated the sound machine that they provided for road noise in the mornings. It’s a cute town with a beautiful view of the courthouse. There were some nice restaurants and local shops that were within walking distance as well.

We had an amazing stay at Chris’s place! The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. Chris was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The area was quiet and safe, with great restaurants and shops within a few miles. We loved sitting on the patio and enjoying the scenery. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Amish Country. Thanks again, Chris, for making our trip so special! 😊

This was our first time in the Millersburg and we will be booking this apartment every time we’re in the area! The apartment is GORGEOUS and looks even better than the pictures! It’s very spacious, clean, and it even smells so nice! The instructions on where to park are very clear. The neighborhood has good restaurants, coffee, and ice cream, and it’s a perfect location near all the Millersburg/Berlin/Sugarcreek attractions.

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay! We were able to walk to restaurants and relax when needed. The elevator was very convenient since my mom is not great with steps. We had plenty to do and see between Millersburg and Berlin! Can't wait to visit again!

This basement apartment was a place of simplicity and serenity! It was peaceful and lovely! There were bird feeders and that was truly my favorite. So many different kinds of beautiful, charming and colorful birds. The squirrels were also hilarious trying to eat from the feeders lol! The space is bigger than you think it is. It was such a cozy place that my family and I could not stop admiring! Not to mentioned when we got there they happened to be outside doing yard work and gave us a lovely greeting of hello, and for the remainder of the time gave us such privacy. They were beautiful and wonderful! Truly could go on and on! Thank you for a wonderful homey stay!

We wanted to spend a weekend away in Amish Country, and this was a great place. It is close to all the attractions and restaurants in the area. The house is immaculate and very comfortable, with off-street parking, and it made for a great trip. We will stay at this location again. This is an excellent choice if you want to visit this area. Nice, clean pet friendly place to stay! We had a nice time!

Great stay, and even better host. The place was clean and updated. The beds were super comfortable and the ping pong table was a plus too. Oh and Marc went over and beyond your typical host as far as stocking amenities and food for his guests. Marc also was very prompt in to replying to me, he even took time out of his day to answer my phone calls and return my phone calls when I was having issues with the app. 10/10 highly recommend!!

These cabins are roomy and comfortable. Obviously we’ll taken care of. Perfect for families. We will be back!!!

Great place to stay for Kenyon College families. Not too far from campus.

Matt’s place was awesome. The 3 bedroom/2 bath place was so roomy and nice to have after cramped hotel rooms. The location is so quiet that we had two wonderful nights’ sleep. We plan to use again when in the area. About 13 minutes drive to Kenyon College.

This condo was a really nice option for Kenyon families - close by, good parking, well-stocked kitchen, extremely clean. Playground for young kids was a definite bonus!
