Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Holmenkollen

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. On foot you can get to a large shopping center quite quickly, there is everything your heart desires. In general, you can get by very well on foot. I didn't test the public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I also enjoyed. He gave plenty of tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all, a very great 5 weeks.

We had a really nice stay at Kaja's place in the Holmenkollen area. The house is large and has a very beautiful kitchen and great upper floor with lots of amenities for kids. The bathroom is fantastic and bedding is great. There is lots to do in the area especially if you are into nature. Also the railway to the city centre is relatively close and there is also a direct bus to the city center super close by. We would come back for sure!

Spacious and delicious "hotel room" in a quiet, charming neighborhood. Short distance to the tram directly to Oslo city centre. Easy check-in, good description and good communication.

It was a nice house, however, the kitchen was a bit lacking, there were only 4 champagne glasses, no salad bowl, no bread bowl? Then there were no wardrobes with hangers in the rooms, no hangers for towels, otherwise a very nice and pleasant house.

Great stay for longterm. Booked for my colleagues and home to book more times :)

Nice place to stay. Everything what you need is there. Neighbours are very friendly too aswell as the neighbourhood. The bed good. the check in is easy and got some help with the kitchen equipment. The garden gave enough privacy. 😊.Maybe little small for two, but for solo travelers definitely a safe and good place to rent. recommended.

A small charming top floor apartment on a quiet street in Oslo. The host and his wife met us upon arrival and were very nice. The apartment was comfortable and the location is close to transportation, and overall the stay was a good value considering the steep prices in Norway. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend to others.

Very nice villa inside the room is cozy and has all the amenities you need!The homeowner even thoughtfully prepared items like candy, cotton swabs, hand cream, etc., the bedrooms were comfortable and clean, and always everything was perfect!!It is worth mentioning that the homeowner's garden has been meticulously taken care of with lots of nice flowers and fruit trees to add to our trip in Oslo👍

We love the accommodation of Ole and his wife! After having been there once in October last year, I really wanted to come back this year, this time together with my partner. We felt very comfortable in the accommodation again! It is extremely stylishly furnished, very clean and very well equipped. We also like the location very much - you have a wonderful view of a lot of nature and at the same time you can get to the city quite quickly. Ole and his wife are also very friendly hosts! Wonderful and comfortable place to stay. Hosts were very helpful and quick to respond. Located close to grocery, bakery, and train lines. Very easy to get around and explore. Highly recommend.

Maria's home was a highlight in our Oslo trip, I don't think we could have found a better place to enjoy and explore our time in the city. The home is spotless, quiet, very comfortable, stylish, and comes with a million dollar view of the city. We enjoyed the outdoor space and watching the sunsets and the view of the water. The hosts were incredibly responsive, warm, and welcoming- they provided such detailed information that we greatly appreciated. We hope to be lucky enough to return and stay again one day.

We had a lovely stay at Morten and Patrick’s apartment. The apartment was spotless, modern and had lots of great amenities which we really appreciated. Morten and Patrick are great host, very friendly and responsive. The location is great with an amazing view over Oslo and easy to walk or get the tram into town. Our stay with Martin was pleasant. The bed might have been a little firmer, but that's also the only thing that wasn't optimal. :) We'd love to come back next time we're in Oslo.

We enjoyed our stay at Russell's place. It is a clean apartment with all amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment has a lovely patio that faces a forest where we found some nice hiking trails in "green space." We took about a 20 minute Uber ride from the train station (probably much cheaper than a taxi) and used Bus 46 for excursions into Oslo (about 30 minutes or so). We cooked several meals "at home," and Russel's kitchen is very well equipped to do so. All in all, if you are looking for a quiet space, that is affordable and clean, this is the place for you. Russel is also very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Thanks Russel!
