Rustic Space Perched in the Hollywood Hills

Drink in panoramic city views from Hollywood to the ocean from the freestanding bathtub at a private guest unit nestled in the wooded hillside. Wake up in the cabin-like bedroom and step out onto the sun-drenched terrace for a cup of coffee or tea. Listed in Time Out “Top Airbnb’s in LA” https://www.timeout.com/los-angeles/hotels/best-airbnbs-in-los-angeles An extremely well designed open plan guest unit: complete with queen bed, bathtub & sink, private toilet, small fridge, with inside and outside hang out space and a strong bluetooth speaker for music. Also included is a hot plate, all cooking utensils necessary, a Nespresso machine with pods and an American standard coffee pot with coffee and sugar, a microwave, and filtered drinking water. (the iMac and screen are removed from the desk, and the unit will be delivered with no clutter of any kind. Bring your devices as they will be happy with the blazing fast internet and power ports all over the house, inside and out.) Toilet and sink are located 1 step from the French doors, behind the antler of the main picture of the listing. Fridge also located outside the unit by one step from the opposite french door. Guest unit requires your ability to climb many stairs from the street level, so it is best as a guest you are comfortable with stairs. You may access the exterior day bed shown in the photos and outdoor shower on the walkway up to the guest unit. The guest unit is at the rear of my home with complete privacy. The outdoor shower is shared with the main house. Guests have their own private entrance and exit to the shower from the guest unit. Stairs! It is required you walk up three sets of stairs from the street to access the guest unit in the back of the home. Guests that are comfortable with stairs will have no issues. I am happy to help any guests with their plans while here in the city on their arrival. Afterward I am reachable via email or text throughout your stay to offer any more guidance or help. The guest suite sits on a quiet street, near Franklin Village, restaurants, and the lovely Griffith Park. The neighborhood’s dramatic hills are great for walking, and it’s convenient to Hollywood, Los Feliz, and Silver Lake. Parking is always available on the street in front of the house (and it's FREE) and the local DASH bus is available in a matter of minutes after a short walk down the hill that goes straight to the metro. Renting a car while in LA however is recommended as the city is very large. Many of my guests use Uber as well for its convenience. No Smoking inside the unit. No pets. Outdoor shower is shared with the main house. Location is not conducive for guests with young children.

Thoughtfully designed, light filled, one bedroom, one bath, free standing guest house located in Hollywood's historic Whitley Heights. Conveniently located with a 10-15 min walk to the Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood Walk of Fame, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and hiking trails. Universal Studios is a 5-10 min drive. The Spanish-Mediterranean Revival architecture, stone floors, casement windows, gas fireplace, mid-century modern furniture and original artwork make this property a unique experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Stacy and Brian’s guesthouse! The space is beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel cozy, stylish, and welcoming. The bed and bedding were hands down the most comfortable we’ve ever experienced- we slept like babies! Stacy and Brian were the perfect hosts: friendly, respectful of our privacy, and incredibly generous. They even left us a bottle of wine along with some snacks and drinks to enjoy—such a kind and unexpected surprise that made us feel truly cared for. The guesthouse is stocked with everything a traveler could need—they really thought of it all. We’ll absolutely be recommending this place to friends and family!

Peaceful unit with STUNNING views! This Airbnb is private and secure, and we loved being in the heart of Los Feliz. The unit is comfortable and the private balcony is a huge plus. My boyfriend loved lying on the couch and looking out at the views of LA! The bed is also very comfortable - we slept so peacefully. This unit is under the main house so you might hear sounds from upstairs. We definitely recommend this place!

My stay with Grace exceeded expectations, I left well rested with a big smile on my face! The location was so perfect for visiting my family and going to a HS graduation in NoHo. My niece and nephew were able to hang out with me and play in the pool, we had a blast! Grace is the best host, smart, kind, generous and welcoming. Her place is super clean, quiet, brilliantly organized, comfortable and secure. The pool and yard are lovely. The view out the window onto the pool is delightful. I can't say enough positive things about this experience. Everything is great and I'm even more relaxed than when I arrived. Thank you, Grace! I can't wait to stay with you again!

This place had everything I needed. It was a good central location for getting out and exploring the west side. I felt very safe and secure in the room, it was quiet at night, and Jose was always helpful and made sure I had everything. Would gladly stay there again my next trip out!
