We had a great stay! The apartment is located in a quiet and natural environment, is tastefully decorated and equipped with all comforts. Everything was sparkling clean and well cared for. The location is ideal: you can be in Harlingen and Franeker in no time. Ympkje is an incredibly friendly and attentive host, who is always ready. We felt welcome right away. Absolutely recommended! --- Let me know if you want to change anything in terms of tone or length.

Perfect location. You are in the middle of the hustle and bustle and still have a small terrace out the back with absolute peace. Everything was well maintained. We were very enthusiastic and Ivar responded immediately to questions. Thank you

The only issue is that the ceiling in the upstairs loft is 190cm so if you're tall this cute cottage isn't probably ideal.

We had a great time at Irma's place. The accommodation is very clean, pleasant, well equipped. The environment is very nice. Irma is a very friendly and responsive host. We will come back without hesitation!

A great little Airbnb gem, quietly located. Within just 20 minutes, you can reach the beautiful beaches of the area and we wish we had more time to explore the surroundings. The house itself is perfectly clean, very cozy and you can tell how much love the hosts put in. There are many attentions such as biscuits, fresh eggs, flowers, high-quality soaps, etc. The fenced garden is also great - especially for us as dog owners but also for relaxing. There is nothing missing, even in the kitchen. The only comment - and this is not meant negatively - would be that the house is not so suitable for small children due to the many pretty, but fragile/wobbly decorative objects, the steep staircase, the missing bedroom blackout, the stream next door, etc. But only as a note for parents of very small children. For everyone else: book now! This accommodation is something very special.

Jan is a great place to stay. There is enough space, the house has been practically furnished and very clean. The location is great, parking is easy to find and everything is within walking distance. Medemblik is also always worth a visit.

We had an amazing stay at Sandra's house in Breezand. This spacious property was ideal for a group stay, providing a plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The location is fantastic, nestled in a peaceful village. The house itself was well-equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay.

We had a lovely 8 night stay in this cozy cottage by the canal. The bed was comfy, the place was peaceful, and Noortje was a kind host who even gave us fresh eggs from her chickens. There was some parking lot construction early on and occasional activity from the business next door, but nothing major. Just a heads-up: check-in and check-out were in person (not self-service), and there was a tourist tax to be paid in cash at the end, which wasn’t mentioned upfront in the listing. Overall, a great spot for a quiet getaway.

Nice house with a little garden in a beautiful and quiet place (a neighborhood/park full of little similar houses). Plenty of space, cosy... The only thing to notice is that unless we didn't understand the TV is only useable as a smart TV, there's no antenna. It was not an issue at all for us as we used our phones to cast content to it. The city is nice, the region is beautiful. We spent two weeks there and are missing it already.

The apartment is very cozy and the equipment is very complete and high quality. There was coffee and the beds were very cozy. Agaath and her husband are very friendly and flexible, also easy to reach. Due to the early check-in and the slightly later check-out, our stay was even more uncomplicated. Very nice thank you! Would recommend Airbnb to anyone. You can get to the beach quickly as well as the beautiful city of Alkmaar!

We felt very comfortable with Sharon and Djurre from the beginning. They are particularly friendly and approachable hosts and are helpful in every way and open to questions. The apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable due to a generous interior design. Every morning, Sharon prepared a lavish and very varied breakfast that we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment is very convenient: You can easily and quickly reach many interesting places and tourist attractions from here. In short, we can warmly recommend the place to everyone. Quietly located, bright, very clean apartment with great views. The apartment is very spacious, which was ideal for the two of us with a small child. The check-in was very straightforward and the communication with Anja from beginning to end was very good. There is ample parking in a private car park behind the house. Many excursion destinations in the area can be reached quickly by car. On request, Anja provided us with a travel cot for a small surcharge. The only point that bothered us was that for an old, worn Ikea high chair (new price €15) a surcharge of €5 was also required.

We really loved it at Dick and Thildy's place. The two are very friendly, open and give great tips for the area. The apartment was beautifully decorated, you felt very comfortable - surrounded by flower fields and a rural idyll with 2 sweet cats, ducks & chickens. Despite the construction of the new accommodations, we did not feel disturbed - I am curious how they look then!! 🙏🏻 Definitely a great place to explore North Holland and experience the colorful flower fields!

We stayed at the apartment for a week with our children. The apartment corresponds exactly to the photos and descriptions. Everything was clean and cleanly equipped. You can see and hear the sea from the balcony. The bedrooms could be darkened very well. Henk was always available and friendly. The apartment is located in a large residential building. Nevertheless, it was totally quiet and relaxing! The location is excellent. In a few minutes you can walk to the beach, to the city with a supermarket, no shops and restaurants. A bike rental is also located in the immediate vicinity. We liked it without exception and can recommend the apartment without restriction.

Super nice apartment, everything new, tastefully furnished and quietly located. The location is great, you can easily reach the city centre on foot. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend Daphne's apartment. Thank you!!
