Beautiful home within easy walk of the train station and the city centre. Beds were comfortable and the entire house was spotlessly clean.

Helen was an excellent host. The location was perfect, just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Harrogate. The house was spotless and very well equipped. 100% will stay again.

This host is prepared! The many thoughtful details made this stay delightful— traditional candies made in York, prosecco, lots of brochures and local suggestions, nice shampoo and toiletries. The walk to town is very doable. We were able to check in an hour early as our train arrived early. Also, we had to abandon a broken suitcase. Stuart was great about helping us with that. Thanks!

Home from home. What a wonderful place! It was our first time visiting York and we had such a brilliant time, we will definitely be back! And we wouldn’t stay anywhere else other than Graeme’s place! The accommodation was within walking distance of the town centre and had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The place was spotless throughout, the bed was very comfortable with good quality bed linen and the shower had good pressure. We were enjoying ourselves so much we ended up staying extra night! Thanks again Graeme for a lovely stay :)

Silvia made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was very informative from the start. The home was very well maintained, clean and very tidy. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the personal added touches made a great start to our weekend away. Very thoughtful! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The manual was very helpful and listed everything we needed to know about local amenities, aswel as having leaflets on what York had to offer. Would million percent recommend this host and there beautiful home. The home was in a good location and also offered parking. Check in and out was very easy and we had a very lovely time in York thanks to the amazing hosting of Silvia. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. Lovely house very clean and tidy, lots of dvds and tv has free view, Netflix etc, very well equipped has everything you need, great location for us visiting Bramham horse trials. Will definitely stay again.

A beautiful home to stay in, so quaint and welcoming. It was well equipped, beautifully furnished and comfortable beds. The location was also perfect - easily walkable into the centre of York, but also situated in a quiet part of the city in a leafy green area. We also appreciated you accommodating our request to drop off our luggage a couple of hours early. Many thanks and wouldn't hesitate to book again when next visiting, best wishes.

Lovely clean flat with all amenities-super extra touches with fresh flowers, milk, biscuits etc. Great local maps with information about shops, restaurants and attractions. In fact the whole experience really could not have been better!

Apartment was gorgeous. 3 big bedrooms with tvs. Huge living area with gorgeous kitchen that had everything. 2 modern bathrooms. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Parking at back of property big enough for 2 cars. Also an electric charge point if needed. Little court yard area to sit out in when weather nice. Nice park over the road and apartment next to a COOP grocery store. Chinese take away on same road. 15 min walk into York which is easy to walk. Loads of car parks if you prefer to drive. York is well worth a visit. Loads to do and see. Tons of restaurants including a few good traditional Indian/nepalese which didn’t disappoint. We came with our kids age 21 and 15 and two of their friends. Would definitely stay again maybe before Xmas as York is one of the best Xmas markets we’ve been to in the past. Host was responsive and everything about the apartment was perfect. The key lock box made it easy to check in. Would highly recommend we had a great time thank you 🤩

Just had a wonderful stay at this property, which is located just a couple of minutes walk from all the shops, restaurants and bars. The check-in details were on point and we easily found and accessed the property with no issues. Once inside the photos were a true representation of the flat. The location as above was second to none, although next to a fairly busy road (masked by bushes), the glazing did a great job and we could not hear anything, it was also nice to look out over the town walls. We only had 1 issue regarding cleaning and that was the cooker hood, which did not look like it had been cleaned for months, leading to a strong cooking smell all over the flat. So ended up cleaning it myself and contacting Pass the Keys who dropped off additional dishwasher tablets (even though on instructions it stated not to use the dishwasher). All in all a great property, easily walkable to all the main attractions, with parking right outside the door.

Our stay in York was just what we wanted. The flat had everything we needed and provided a perfect location for visiting York with it being a short walk from the minster and town centre. The entire time Melanie was attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to provide detailed instructions for accessing the flat. Highly recommend this property and the host for a weekend away to explore the city!

The accomodation was immaculate. Couldnt be in a better location for walking into York...part of the city wall walk just outside apartmemts. Decorated for xmas which was a lovely touch. Cosy and warm... Excellent communication. Would definatly recommend .

We were here for an overnight stay for a wedding nearby, let us check in a bit earlier to get ready for it, didnt spend alot of time there but its a really lovely home very spacious and the beds were comfortable

Fabulous stay at Jo's place, spotlessly clean, had all the amenities and so peaceful. Loved watching the chickens in the gardens. Unfortunately didn't get to meet Jo in person, but all correspondence through Airbnb she promptly replied to. Thanks Jo, we would love to come back. ❤️

From booking our stay at Ashley’s apartment right through to check-out, our experience was excellent. Ashley was always responsive when we had a question both before and during our visit. The apartment was perfect for what we needed: clean, modern and within a 15 minute walk of York’s key landmarks, such as the cathedral and the Shambles. An absolute gem and would definitely look to book again when we next visit York. Thank you Ash for a wonderful stay!

Jackie’s spacious Airbnb was 5 star+. This was the best Airbnb we had stayed in. The location was peaceful and quiet. Jackie had thought of everything to make it feel like home. Beautifully and tastefully furnished. The kitchen had everything required to self cater. The basket of goodies was much appreciated. Very comfortable bed with extra pillows and crisp white linen. The large bathroom included a washing machine and a fabulous shower. Communication with Jackie was easy and she was quick to respond to my questions. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone visiting York and it’s surrounds.

That saying “The Pictures don’t do it justice” is exactly true for Diane’s apartment - the pictures looked beautiful but the reality is even better. Very clean and everything you need. Great location and such a beautiful town with friendly people - we got the train into York one day, the station was less than a 10 min walk (station cafe is AMAZING) - all in all a great stay and hope we can come back again soon - thanks Diane! Excellent apartment, we stayed for the week as we were going to a wedding in Harrogate. The apartment was so central to everything, the bus station, the train station, and the main shopping area. The apartment itself was equipped to the highest standard, and the extras Maureen provided were a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting this area. And I would certainly book this place again when visiting Harrogate. Thank you to the host Maureen, your home was beautiful.

Perfection!! Clive's place is a wonderful place to stay. Clive and Julie are great hosts, friendly, helpful, accommodating and very welcoming. The welcome 'goodies' were very appreciated and tasty. The unit is very tastefully decorated and well appointed, the bed is super comfy and the shower is large with good water pressure. The outdoor area is a real delight, we sat and watched the ducks, the other birds (saw kingfishers!) and the squirrels. We had everything we needed for a happy, memorable stay. There are lots of walks in the area, plus a number of interesting things to see and do. It's an easy train ride to York, Harrogate and Leeds and the station is a short walk from the unit. There are a lot of pubs and cafes within easy walk - The Half Moon pub does delicious pizza! Overall, we very highly recommend Clive's unit and would return often if we could.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shambles Secret. Jenny proved to be a first class host, who went above and beyond to make her guests happy; we cannot thank her enough. The flat was exactly as depicted in the pictures, lovely and cosy and a real home from home. We slept really well, and although the flat is right in the centre of York, it was remarkably quiet. We enjoyed our time in the flat as much as we did sightseeing in fabulous York. Shambles Secret really is right where you want to be, EVERYTHING was within walking distance. A fantastic location to visit York, with views of the wall as well as York Minster. Accommodation was very good with 10min walk into York for sight seeing and restaurants, would stay here again.
