The building was designed and constructed by the Tokei team, and the team operates it as an inn for many people to use. The distinctive architecture is a redesign of an old townhouse using modern construction methods and traditional materials. Good access to Shimosuwa Station! We renovated an 80-year-old Japanese house into a traditional and clean space. (New open in 2023!) You can spend a comfortable time by renting the entire building. Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.

Sanson Terrace "off-grid tiny cottage"

In Ohinata, Sakuho-town, Nagano-pref. We built a small cottage at a mountain side of the natural woodland which separated for a while from the colony. The time flows graceful here, while the interval of farm labor or works in the mountain. It is a special time to have Coffee or Beer while looking at Mt. Morai on the other side. You can spend time, being surrounded by nature... reading books slowly, taking a walk the mountain, listening songs of birds while lie on a hammock in the forest.

You will be staying in a freestanding house surrounded by 120 hectares of quiet forest. The house is located inside a highland resort in the Yatsugatake area at an altitude of 1400 meters.Staying between the mountains and beautiful nature will revitalize you mentally and physically. A perfect place to relax. Access: 2 1/2 hours by train from Shinjuku by JR(chuo main line). (e.g. Shinjuku 13:00 → Kobuchizawa 15:00 (15:06) → Kiyosato 15:30. Meanwhile, you can enjoy the Highland railway.

Please enjoy the Japanese quiet and peaceful country life in ISAWA. You can take a private Onsen at any time. I would like to lend this house to foreign tourists who are interested in Japanese life and culture. There are many supermarkets, convenience stores and Japanese restaurants in the neighborhood. Isawa's English map with my recommendations is available. Isawa-onsen station has direct bus service to KAWAGCHI-KO, so my house will be an ideal base to climb Mt.FUJI.
