The exterior of the building, featuring a "persimmon color" and a "seven treasures" pattern, a traditional Japanese pattern, will be a new landmark in the atmosphere of the Nijo Market, which is full of downtown atmosphere. In addition, the 1st floor lounge is wrapped in the "Sapporo brick" familiar to the outer walls of the Hokkaido Government Building, and the space is designed to be "Japanese Sapporo," allowing you to enjoy the calm and unusual Hokkaido Sapporo.

OTARU TAP ROOM is located a bit outside of downtown Otaru. We have 4 private rooms with male and female dormitories and a female dormitory. Despite being in a quiet place, it is in a good location, a 3-minute walk to Otaru Canal and a 7-minute walk to Sakaimachi Shopping Street. Feel the old townscape and history of Otaru while staying. When you're tired from sightseeing, have a drink at the bar on the ground floor! Enjoy interacting with locals and staff as well as the guests staying with us.
