I offer a newly renovated apartment in the center of Saalfeld. The apartment is equipped with everything (except oil) and has a separate entrance. Everything worth seeing in Saalfeld can be reached on foot and there is a free camera-monitored parking lot opposite. Opposite there are 2 other apartments that I also rent out on Airbnb. A visitor's tax is due on site. The sofa is fold-out and can be used as a bed. The bus stop is 100 m away and the train station is a 10-minute walk.

The accommodation has solid basic amenities and is located in a small village on the edge of the forest. Here you can simply relax, go on great excursions into nature or to the Hohenwarte reservoir (Thuringian Sea), which is 1.2 km away on foot. When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. Vacation home in the countryside

Barrier-free apartment in our single-family house in rural idyll in East Thuringia near the Saale dams, the Plothener ponds on the A9 exactly between Berlin and Munich. The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.

The apartment is located on the first floor in an old storage building of the former horticultural company Benary. The vaulted cellar as the foundation of the house was built at the end of the 16th century. The half-timbered house above it was rebuilt around 1850 and completely renovated in recent years. All interior walls of the outer shell of the house are worked with clay plaster and thus ensure a pleasant indoor climate.

In the middle of the Thuringian Highlands Nature Park, on the foothills of the Thuringian Forest, the dammed Saale meanders here for a length of 28 km to the dam in Gräfenwarth. Perfect for boating, fishing, standup paddling, swimming, hiking and cycling.
