This modern cabin is located in the Semmering UNESCO world heritage area of Semmering. The first mountain railway in the world was built 1854 and is still in service. You have stunning views from the house, constantly you can observe the changing moods of nature and see how light is sculpting the rocks and ridges of the Atlitzgraben. One feels like being included in a painting of Caspar David Friedrich... There are plenty of possibilities for walking, skiing and mountain biking.

The house is 130 m² and can accommodate up to 8 people. 3 bedrooms with double beds and a sofa that folds out into a double bed in the living area. The approx. 150 year old house is within walking distance of the High Wall, ideal for climbing, hiking... Soon you can reach the snow mountain either by train or car. The house sleeps 4 adults or 2 adults with 4 children. There is a lovely garden, Swedish stove, a well equipped kitchen, a big dining table, 2 toilets, a TV. The municipality of Grünbach requires a tourism tax of €2.80 per person/night to be paid on site.

We rent out our cottage, built in 1928 and lovingly restored, which is located on our organic farm about 1 km from the idyllic mountain village of Gasen in Styria. Enjoy the quiet, decelerated atmosphere in our vintage cottage, ideal for 2 to maximum 4 people. Pets are welcome! Bed linens, hand towels and dish towels are provided, Wi-Fi, tourist tax, pellets (heating material) and all operating costs are included!
