Charming 50s Style Cottage with a modern touch. Located on a quiet street in Old Hobe Sound. Steps to the Indian River and close to the beach ( 1.2 Mi.) New King Size bedding. Tropical "Zen" Garden in back. The heated pool is in a very private setting next to the cottage. Newly remodeled Bathroom, New Flooring throughout, and a new Mini-Split, Air Conditioner. The entire cottage is freshly painted. The cottage is half a block from the train tracks. This is part of the old Florida charm.

You'll find great tourism spots all around as well. Our house is totally updated in the last 2 years, you'll be comfortable while you stay here. We have an enclosed patio to hang out in fresh air, bbq and dine out there as well.

Tropical Cottage < 2 Mi to Hobe Sound Beach!

The bedroom loft can be a bit tricky for some of us -- it's a low ceiling, just be aware that you will be crouching. I had to go downstairs backwards (I recently had a knee replacement). But other than that it is a terrific location, near the beach and walking distance to a very nice bar/restaurant, Sophie's and the neighborhood is very nice. The cottage is a very nice place to stay and the hosts could not be nicer. Overall a very good experience.

Rick’s place was very nice, clean, comfortable beds. The neighborhood is a little older and dated but we spent very little time at the condo because the beach is short drive down Bridge road and there are many great restaurants a little south of Hobe Sound. Rick was very responsive and helpful.

Jeremy’s home was beautifully decorated and spacious. Nice peaceful area. They were very accommodating for us and our 2 small pups. We only booked for one night but we had a great relaxing time after we returned from the beach at Dubois park. Definitely recommend. Thank you!

As a native south Floridian, I can say confidently that this is one of the most special and spellbinding corners of the State. This gorgeous, lived-in home is the perfect place to explore Martin County, a quick walk to coffee or into the preserve, a stone's throw from the State Park, and just across from one of the most pristine beaches I've seen in Florida. The house is warm and has anything you could imagine for the beach, family, or to cook, but the backyard is the true gem and severely undersold in the listing. If you want some character, stay here. I can't wait to come back, truly.
