Beautiful house in a perfect location in Stavanger

Kenneth was an outstanding host, and very responsive to the few questions we had. He asked when we planned to arrive so that he would have everything “guest-ready.” The place was beautiful and very serene. We were in town to hike, so we were gone most of the four days, but our arrival home was always met with beautiful views and a comfortable place to relax. The bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless and the kitchen was fully equipped, which is important for us as we prefer to cook. The laundry facilities were super and there were plenty of linens and towels. We were two couples traveling and each of us felt that the place will be hard to top in this month of travel in Norway. We highly recommend Kenneth’s place!

We have stayed with Olaug before and were very pleased, so it was easy to choose to stay here again when we were going to Tysvær again. Nice host, nice house, beautiful surroundings. We had a great time there😊. Thank you for having us again. Suddenly coming back 😊🌸

The house was lovely, offering a breathtaking sea view right from the window. Although the nearby beach was a bit small, it had a peaceful charm that made it perfect for unwinding. I highly recommend this place, especially if you're planning to hike Preikestolen—it's an ideal home to relax before or after the adventure.

Beautiful home on a beautiful lot of land. This place is stunning. The only thing I regret - not getting in the row boat she has docked on the body of water right out the house. 😊 It was available to use and part of the stay there, but I just didn’t have enough time to get out there and I’m bummed about that. Other than that, overall great place.

Great location for tourism and hiking. Lovely living room kitchen dining area for the evenings. Two parking places possible. Excellent base to explore. Loved it.

Had four nice nights in Torkild's house. Clean and tidy when we arrived. The dogs were also warmly welcomed and there was no extra charge. Nice fenced garden. The house was as described in the advertisement and had everything you needed. Quiet neighbourhood even though the houses are close together. It is easy to drive to most places on Karmøy, such as beaches, restaurants, etc. I can recommend staying in Torkild's house with a nice and flexible host.

We had a great stay at Daniel's house! The location is great, just a couple of steps to the beach. The house itself was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Communication with Daniel was also very easy. Highly recommended!

Great house that was perfect for us, a group of 12 people: Many bedrooms to share, large kitchen with lots of equipment for communal cooking, living room with sofa and TV for socializing. The barn with billiards and table tennis was used diligently! Access to the swimming pool was the icing on the cake.

We loved our stay here! The check in was easy, the home was lovely with everything you would want and need with a gorgeous outside area which would be perfect with some good weather, plenty of space for parking and the area was very quiet. All with a very helpful host who was very responsive. We will definitely be staying here again!

Amazing location and excellent views by the sea shore. Direct access to the sea and good options to fish. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. We didn't miss anything to enjoy our stay. Very advisable to rest a few days in a quite and beautiful area.

Very cozy cottage in scenic surroundings. We felt at home immediately. The cabin has good amenities and very good location with good hiking opportunities. Anny is a wonderful host - so friendly and warm. :) She was also easily accessible and responsive to messages. Recommended!!

We had an amazing stay – truly a perfect vacation spot for our family. The area was incredibly peaceful and quiet and we loved being surrounded by animals – the horses and lambs made the experience even more special. The view was absolutely beautiful and the house was everything we needed for a fun and comfortable family vacation. The host was very welcoming and easy to communicate with – always available for questions and helpful if there should be anything. We really appreciated that we were encouraged to let us know if we needed anything extra during our stay. It gave an extra safe and welcome feeling. The 8 hour trip from Oslo was definitely worth it – we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the holidays. All in all a 5 star stay – would love to come back!

Lise’s place exceeded our expectations. In the listing she notes that the upstairs is not yet fully renovated. That is true but it is mostly minor cosmetic things. The bed was very comfortable. We slept great. Everything but the beds is downstairs on the ground floor. The downstairs which has mostly been renovated is spacious and very comfortable. Having the ability to store our bike in the garage was a nice plus. The area around the house is breathtakingly beautiful. Don’t miss the walk to and through The Fairytale Forest (Eventyrskogen) - a truly unique Norwegian experience.

Wow. what a shame that we booked only for two nights! The property is located at one of the best location we were at Norway, feels like home away from home. The house is well equipped with everything we could have imagined and more. The parking is a bit far from the apartment, but one can get close for unloading the car. The stairs for the upper floor are a bit tricky for the young kids. Nevertheless - totally worth to stay while in Norway.

We had a very nice stay, it was cozy and warmly decorated. Especially the lake view is great. However, without your own car, it is difficult to get to other places/ sights. Otherwise, definitely to be recommended!
