There are many restaurants around Hikone Interchange, and there are also hot spring facilities and supermarkets, which are very convenient. It's not a large space, but it retains the atmosphere of a traditional earthen-walled storehouse, with thick beams and more. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
