Holiday houses in Highland Grove

We stayed in Lyle’s beautiful cottage for thanksgiving weekend and Loved the place. It was clean, tidy, child friendly as he had kept some board games as well. My 6 year old was super excited seeing the bunk bed in one of the rooms. Moreover the kitchen had almost everything that we needed to cook our meals. The best part of our stay was canoeing in the morning as there were enough canoes, life jackets of each size. Overall, we loved our stay at this place and would recommend our friends. Though it is far from GTA, it was worth the long drive. And Lyle is a great host , very responsive to messages hence I didn’t find any issues in communicating, thanks !.

We had a wonderful stay at Mika & Kara's cottage! From the start, communication was excellent, the hosts were incredibly thoughtful, organized, and helpful throughout our visit. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, and everything we needed was clearly laid out. The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we could possibly need for a peaceful getaway. The water access was a huge highlight, serene, private, and perfect for unwinding. The setting is quiet and relaxing, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We appreciated all the little touches that made the stay extra comfortable. If we ever find ourselves in Highland Grove again, we would absolutely love to return. Thanks again for being such fantastic hosts!

Everything as expected, except the difficulty getting from vehicle to cottage. I have severe assessibility issues and one other person beside myself although not as severe as myself had some as well. With railing and mainly steps to water getting there doable. However the heavy stones and steep incline from driveway to stone steps and no railing with stone steps necessitated the 2 other guests supporting us other 2 quite a bit to get in and out. It looks as though you may be in the process of trying to address this problem. Certainly looked as though some leveling and tiering with retaining walls and railings might really help. That said, so grateful to have had the time at your beautiful spot.

What a wonderful place in the woods. We had a perfect stay at the cabin. The property is gorgeous and so peaceful. The sauna was such a treat pre and post a dip in the lake. The cabin itself is very cozy and has everything you could possibly need. Five stars all around. This place is a real gem.

Had a lovely stay at Krista's cabin on the lake! Very cute and very clean cabin stocked with everything you need. Had great weather and enjoyed most of our time outdoors on the dock and swimming in the stunning Baptist Lake taking in all the views. Very private and quiet property with little cell phone service making it a very relaxing time away from the city. Although noted on the listing we weren't expecting the trail from the parking spot to the cabin to be that steep and felt very out of shape after a couple trips up and down loading/unloading the vehicle so definitely needed to jump in the lake after all settled. Would recommend and stay again.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Priolo on the Bay – Moody Escape, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Andy is a truly exceptional host. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a luxurious yet cozy escape. The cottage itself is immaculate – modern, stylish, and unbelievably comfortable. It strikes the perfect balance between high-end living and rustic charm. Tucked away in the heart of nature, it still offers every convenience imaginable: from fully stocked cutlery and snacks to campfire treats, firewood for both the sauna and outdoor firepit, a gas oven, extra lighters—you name it, it was there.The interiors are spotless and beautifully designed, making the entire space feel like a warm, peaceful retreat. Sitting by the fire, unwinding in the sauna, or just enjoying the serene forest surroundings—it all felt like a dream.This is the kind of place that makes you not want to leave!

Loved our stay at River Vista! The attention to detail was what makes this cottage luxury: from beautiful live plants, to plenty of convenient storage, comfy beds and a giant couch perfect for enjoying the forest view, playing board games or snuggling with a book. Loved walking to the falls, as well as just watching the river flow. The private mini hike was a cool surprise too. Last but not least, Natasha and Matt are responsive and helpful - thank you! We can’t wait to return in the summer so we can float, paddle board and canoe 🛶.

Exceptional Stay We had an incredible time at this beautiful place. The place exceeded our expectations in every way! The location was perfect. The house itself was immaculate, stylishly decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But what truly made our stay stand out was exceptional hospitality. They were quick to respond to our messages, provided us with fantastic recommendations, and even left us a thoughtful welcome treats. We highly recommend place to anyone visiting.
