Gail’s house was brilliant. Very tranquil and in a peaceful location, and the wildlife was fab. The house was huge and contained everything you might need for a fun weekend away!

Such an idyllic little cottage. Almost hard to believe how nice it (and the surroundings) were. Went for a nice walk around the neighborhood and there were birds singing and flowers everywhere. Would stay again!

Kristy provided clear directions with a warm personal welcome - including some candy bars (my wife’s favorite Kit Kat)! Her cabin was perfect for our stay and the hot tub was great on an 8 degree day after a swim in Loch Ness. I HIGHLY recommend staying with Kristy if a cabin setting appeals to you.

Ardlogie Bothy was perfect for our short stay. It was warm and welcoming and the welcome pack was very much appreciated. The Bothy is well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts had provided plenty of local information. It was very peaceful - you wouldn't know you were so close to the town centre and train station. Off-street parking was useful.

We had a wonderful time at Balnacraig Lodge. It had everything we needed and more! We especially loved the large living room which was perfect for socialising and the hot tub. We also loved that the lodge was very baby friendly. We had our 6 month old with us and the highchair and baby monitor meant I didn’t need to bring half our house with us. Really just the most perfect lodge for our wee weekend getaway.

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

I had an amazing time staying at Louise’s place in Aviemore. The accommodation was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Louise was a fantastic host—very welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful throughout. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet close to everything Aviemore has to offer, including gorgeous walks and great cafes. Waking up to the view of the surrounding hills was a real treat. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return soon. Thanks again, Louise!

This place is a real gem with stunning views ! Our family really enjoyed staying here. It was very clean and well equipped! And there was clear and great instructions for everything.

This is the perfect place for a peaceful and restful break, ideally placed if catching the ferry. We loved every part of our stay here and would highly recommend.

This place was perfect for our group. Scenic views perfect for sitting out in the garden or walking amongst the hills. Highly reccomend this place for a group of friends or a family. Cozy, clean, accommodating, welcoming, and gorgeous. Highly recommend.

For the second time we did visit this hidden gem in the highlands. Grant and Laura are very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. The house is perfect for a family of four. It has everything you need, including comfortable beds. With a little drive their are some great beaches with only few visitors. For a good hike try to climb the Resipole or one of the other mountains. On a clear day the views on top are second to none Lastly you can visit the restaurant at the Strontian hotel (aka Bothy bar) Great food, with an exceptional view. We did visit many spots in Scotland but Ardnamurchan is definitely our favourite. It is as beautiful as Skye but without the busloads of tourists

Great room very new and clean in a farm setting. Private space not huge, but compensated by a lot of space in the structure like a large games room that we took full advantage of with our 2 and 4 year old girls. Very nice to wake up, open the window and see horses and other animals. Great base for those who want to tour the highlands, secluded but not far from the main amenities.

Second visit to the Old Checkpoint. Great location for hillwalkers, lots of Munros nearby and a lovely warm comfortable cottage to relax in at the end of a day in the hills. we’ll be back!

Wonderful place and hosts! Caroline and her husband were wonderful, made our anniversary very special. The wood fired hot tub was such a delight after some long hikes in the mountains and they made sure it was perfectly heated for us each night. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. left is some treats that were amazing and it's just such a cozy cottage. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Another wonderful stay here. Cozy, comfortable caravan with a beautiful, peaceful view. Spotlessly clean, great shower, comfy sofas, helpful hosts. Perfect for watching the world go by outside. Can't wait to return next year!

Fabulous stay on Lismore. The Bunkhouse is in a stunning setting and we loved that it was so comfortable, cosy but also environmentally sustainable. Mike was super helpful and gave us lots of helpful advice about things to do on the island. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing host, who completely made us feel at home. Couldn't of asked for better communication and as for the property , unbelievable. Prime location, and to have an extra warm sauna, extra cold cold plunge, working jacuzzi and games room is almost unheard of. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Oli

This location is so cool. Our family had an amazing time staying here. We loved exploring the grounds and the pool was a hit. Would love to stay again one day.
