Peartree Cottage 1960's experience

Mario & VandaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Peartree Cottage - it as an absolute gem. The theme throughout the cottage surely brought back some wonderful memories. Gillian greeted us on arrival and was so kind to have some essentials ready for us which was a lovely gesture and very appreciated. The cottage is spotlessly clean with all the amenities that you need. This was a lovely base for us while we visited our girls who live in the area. A quiet retreat after busy days. We will definitely be back to visit and will book with Gillian and her lovely cottage again.

Darlington, West End Mowden Area

SineadRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Immaculate property - even bigger and more stunning than the photos represent. So luxurious. Everything that you could need and more. The comfiest beds that I have slept in when staying in rented accommodation. Great location, quiet and safe neighbourhood. Darren is extremely responsive and understanding. I would easily pay double what we did to stay here - couldn’t have asked for more.

The Byre

AlanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Byre is a very comfortable and peaceful place to spend a few days and a good centre to explore the region. I had a relaxing stay and it was good to be able to walk through some of the fields around the farm and beyond.

Rooms with a view

DavidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Barn is excellent, the panoramic window and outdoor seating area just has a superb view and the sound of the curlews just adds to the atmosphere. As a property it is comfortable, well equipped and obviously well cared for. So much to see and do within half an hour's drive, in our so short four days we visited Beamish, Auckland Palace, Ushaw and the Miners' Art Gallery. After a day exploring sitting out with a glass of wine admiring the view, what's not to like? As you may have gathered I would recommend the Barn.

Plum Tree Lodge Set in 2 acres of Private Land

HayleyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had such a peaceful stay! Our dogs were obsessed with the goats, sheep and rabbits and had so much fun playing in the secure garden. The caravan itself was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Plenty of towels provided, all information was provided ahead of time and again inside the caravan when we arrived. Very easy to find, secluded, and plenty of parking right beside the accommodation. We had a brief chat with Andy, who was lovely, upon arrival, but were left to our own devices with the offer to get in touch if we needed anything. Would highly recommend staying here & we’ll definitely be back! Thankyou ☺️
