Lovely and simple. Easy beach access with ocean views from the balcony/braai area and nearby restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Every now and then you come across special places in the world, places you feel truly priveleged to be able to visit. This is one of them. It's a wonderful place to stay, it's a whole experience being there, both wild and rustic but also comfortable and set up just right. The cottage is perfect. A great space for two to share, cosy and decorated with a minimal but excellent taste, the kitchen has everything you need, be it for storing some snacks or more concerted cooking. (of, for example, delicious things you find at the nearby Sedgefield market). The area is wonderful to explore, jump in a kayak and go! And, sure, you can hear the traffic across the way, but at least in mu opinion, it just doesn't matter. Stay for as many nights as you can, you're going to want to. Thank you Gustav for sharing this special place.

Watching the tide come in….watching it go out….so relaxing. Super weekend with baby, kids, grandparents and dog. Playing in the lagoon all day and enjoying the quiet splashes of the fish in the evenings. Thanks again Charles and Ryk

As a Garden Route local, I can confidently say this home is in one of the absolute best locations in the entire region. The setting is peaceful, scenic, and perfectly placed to enjoy all that the Garden Route has to offer. The house itself is truly beautiful—thoughtfully designed, exceptionally maintained, and filled with character. It’s rare to find a place that combines such a stunning location with such tasteful living spaces. Highly recommended.

A dream in every way! An incredibly beautiful property, extremely tastefully furnished with a fantastic view of the Indian Ocean. The integrated restaurant is also highly recommended. I'm more than thrilled!

The location is incredibly tranquil and surrounded by stunning nature. I especially enjoyed the peaceful walks along the beautiful beach and watching the breathtaking sunsets. The house has a lovely stoep facing the ocean, perfect for enjoying sundowners and soaking in the soothing sounds of the waves.

We had a wonderful stay in Gouritz, surrounded by a relaxing atmosphere and breathtaking ocean views. From the moment we entered the home, we were welcomed by a spectacular view of the sea that set the tone for a peaceful stay. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, making our time there comfortable and convenient. We enjoyed our stay and the stunning views from the balcony. The BBQ is amazing and perfect for family. We were also very happy and pleasantly surprised with the size. If you’re as lucky as we were you’ll spot the dolphins from the main bedroom window and balcony.
