Holiday rentals with a kayak in Hernando County

We loved the place, it was well stocked. The location was perfect it is down a canal so not much traffic and so it was very peaceful. There were plenty of kayaks for the 6 of us. We saw manatees and dolphins on our trip. The beds were very comfortable. The one and only issue was it says it sleeps 6 but I wouldn't recommend it for 6 adults/teens. It comfortably sleeps 4 adults/teens and maybe smaller children. We would definetly stay her again just if we had a smaller group.

I had a wonderful stay at this riverfront Airbnb! The property was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and exactly what I needed for a relaxing escape. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating—easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. One of the highlights was having access to kayaks right on the river. We spent hours paddling, taking in the calm waters and stunning nature views. The outdoor space was perfect for unwinding, with a great spot to sit and enjoy the breeze off the water. The home itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. You can tell the hosts put care into the little touches, which made it feel extra welcoming. If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable getaway with some fun and adventure right at your doorstep, I definitely recommend this place. Would absolutely stay again!

Such a great stay! So homey and clean. The beds are so comfy and the linens smells amazing. Great host was very responsive and worked with me and special requests! I’d come back any time.

Great location to enjoy the river and the Hernando Flats The dock was a plus to park our jet ski during our stay. Very clean with everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to friends. The Upper Deck restaurant is within walking distance and the food was great. Looking forward to staying again soon.

The place was spotless and very welcoming. The access to the river is right around the corner and the dock and patios were a welcome spot to spend down by the water. We definitely had an amazing weekend and would love to book again in the future.

A great place to stay while exploring the area. Everything you need is there for a relaxing vacation. Derrick is very nice and helpful with questions. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

Location and amenities were PERFECTION. Kayaks and paddle boards for all of us with Hospital Hole and Rogers Park a short paddle away. We enjoyed the rope swing and saw several manatees swim right by the house. Loved using the green egg for BBQ dinners and the kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed to entertain. Great house!!

Christena's home was a wonderful experience for us. And it's true, the sunsets are gorgeous, and you can see the stars at night. Her home was welcoming and inviting. It was pristine. I really appreciated the lovely card and the chips that were there when we arrived. One thing really cool is watching the current change directions every few minutes right outside the screened porch. I've lived around water my whole life and have never experienced that! It was very cool! The wildlife was great to watch, too! Also, Christena was very accommodating and super friendly! We would definitely come back. I highly recommend her home.

This was our second time renting this place and we just love it. Location is perfect, the price has been really good each time, and there's everything one needs. The house has a great lay out, with a large open living area with kitchen, dining area, and living room, and then the bedrooms are off to the sides. The large screened in area is cozy for hanging out and keeping all your things that don't need to come in the house. There are 5 single kayaks which are great and this time we needed a double kayak as well so we rented one from Easy Peasy Mobile Kayak Rental. Would definitely recommend reaching out to them if one needs additional kayaks at a fair price and they deliver and pick up. Sally is a fantastic host who has always been so responsive and we will definitely be coming back for a third time :)

Excellent getaway! Has everything and my ch more

We had a blast celebrating my fiancés birthday on the river! So many things to use for outdoor time, so close to the water! Plenty of places to sit! The Airbnb was so cool compared to outdoors!

This location could not be more perfect! The property is impeccably maintained and has the classic Florida feel we were hoping for. Roger’s Park is less than a 2 minute walk away - perfect for mid afternoon dips in the springs. Brian was an excellent host and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even going as far as to replace the entire AC unit (!) when the existing unit was showing some signs of struggle. If that’s not dedication to guest satisfaction, I don’t know what is. Our kids are already asking to make this our yearly getaway and we would 100% book this property again in the future.

From the moments we arrived we were very pleased. Everything was fresh and clean. A nice bottle of wine was waiting on us. We were treated by 4-5 manatees and one with a baby. We out crab traps in but the hey did not chose that route. We went old school with chicken leg, string and net. Caught 21 crabs. So much fun and so delicious! There were 6 guys and not one complaint. Oh there was one, why we can’t stay another day. But we had to get back too work. LOL. We highly recommend this place. We have been coming for the last 7 years to Weeki and this was one of the finest places for the price. Host were always quick to respond. Look forward to next time!

Always a great place to stay.

We stayed at Nancy’s place for a family get together and had a wonderful time! There was plenty of space to spread out and lots of amenities to use! We immediately felt at home and loved spending time on the expansive back patio, swimming in the canal, or kayaking on the main river right around the corner. I would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing stay. We enjoyed limitless kayaking in such a tranquil place. Safe for my children and very private. We had the entire beach to ourselves. The daily sunsets are worthy and magical. The ocean flora and fauna are plentiful. We loved it such, that we booked it again immediately after checkout!! 😀 Patrick was an outstanding communicator.

Experience was perfect and exactly what my husband and I needed to get some R&R and peace away from the busy city. Lots of great fishin off the dock. Bluegill, gar, bowfin,catfish, and a wee baby alligator. Friendly people nearby and good food and live music at the restaurant across the street. We will definitely return.

It was a beautiful place to stay. Perfect place to disconnect your self from everything. We love our stay!!! The cabin was just perfect for the 3 of us. Love the River and the screened porch.

The host was amazing. Very responsive! The house was great. A little small, however, perfect for our family of 4. The access to the river is amazing! Awesome view with nature on the other side of the river, not houses. The water was crystal clear. The kayaks were in good shape and fun to use. The only downside is there is not dishwasher if you are going to stay longer, however, we did not mind washing our own dishes. We are already looking at dates to return!

Booked a weekend stay for my boyfriends 28th birthday. This was such an unforgettable stay for us. I could go on and on, but I’ll keep it short and say Dustin was one of the best hosts I’ve experienced on air bnb. He responded promptly every time I had a question and was so friendly. The house was clean and had endless amenities. The main reason I booked this stay is because of the included kayaks and boat launch which made kayaking so easy. We already can’t wait to come back. We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed the trip. The house has a direct access to the main river. Very well stocked with everything you need. We really like the fact that the property doesn’t have excess of trees and bushes. It is the best one we stayed at in this area.
