We had a wonderful stay at Akwa house. There are plenty of spaces for the kids to relax and have fun while the adults could sit in the lounge overlooking the beautiful views. We loved the quiet location and family-friendly feel of the street. The kitchen was well stocked and we slept very comfortably in all the rooms. I would definitely recommend Akwa house to anyone looking for a great home right close to the beach.

5 Stars. Highly recommended! We had an incredible stay in Voëlklip, Hermanus. The surroundings are peaceful and scenic, with the mountains as a backdrop and the soothing sound of the ocean always present. It’s a perfect location for walking to the beach with the doggo's or to go for a beach activity like playing beach cricket. The home itself is ideal for families and friends who love spending time together. The kitchen and entertainment area are open and cozy, making it a joy to cook, chat, and relax. The pool table added loads of fun and really made the evenings memorable. All in all, a fantastic destination and highly recommended for anyone looking for a coastal escape with comfort, space, and natural beauty.

We had a wonderful stay at Wessel’s place! The house was spotless, well-equipped with everything we needed, and perfectly located near the beautiful Voelklip beaches. Highly recommended!

Karin’s house is the perfect place to stay in Betty’s Bay. Very peaceful neighborhood, a few minutes walk from the beach. The house was very clean and the kitchen has everything you need and more. Karin is very reactive. We had a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. It was not only equiped with everything that we needed, but had so much more. Adet was extremely helpful and responded to all our messages. I will definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in Stanford.

Elsja made sure we were warmly welcomed - Christmas decorations, gifts for our dogs and some fabulous treats for us! This is our 2nd holiday at the house and love the large rooms with plenty of light and fresh air - easy walks to the beach and the mountain. We will be back! Thank you.

Beautiful gem of a place with everything you need to enjoy yourself. Tim was quick to check in when we had an issue with the sliding door and was really kind and helpful Plus offered some useful local info etc. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy the beach.

Epic stay at a beautiful place. Good comms with India in the run up and Anton helpful during our stay. He also cooked us a beautiful roast lamb dinner which we highly recommend. 5 stars all round. The house is perfectly situated, yes it is a bit tired in places but it only adds to the charm. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms in good condition and the garden an absolute gem. This was our second visit to Gledsmuir and the stay matched our best expectations - again! We had a full house of 15 young and old adults (!) but the house is so spacious there was a place for everyone, whether it was to enjoy ball play or swim outside, or to find a space inside to play board games or cards, do a jigsaw puzzle or crossword, or read. The staff were unobtrusive and helpful, and magically restored the place to its pristine level throughout the day and early each morning. In particular, not having to be overly worried about washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen was a great treat for all the busy adults in our group. We had a truly relaxing and fun stay, in beautiful and comfortable surroundings. The price is on the high side but you get what you pay for, and more.

We had the most unforgettable stay in Gansbaai, and Ethan was very accommodating. The 5-bedroom house was absolutely stunning — spacious, beautifully designed, and tastefully decorated with every detail thoughtfully considered. The peaceful surroundings were a dream, with zebras casually grazing nearby, adding a magical touch to the experience. A true escape into nature without compromising on comfort or style. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Lydia's place in Hermanus. Beautiful mountain views, garden and birds, and direct access to mountain walks whilst reasonably close to Voelklip beach. It had all the amenities that our family needed and a lovely authentic and rustic feel.

Absolutely loved our stay! Misha’s place is gorgeous - even nicer than the photos. Came for a weekend with some friends and it’s the perfect house for that - spacious entertainment area and pool. It’s an easy walk to the beach and to the mountain path. Bed was super comfy. Ciska was friendly and lovely. Highly recommended!

This place was perfect for a base to explore the surrounding towns and attractions. We were 4 adults (2 couples) and the space was a bit cramped but it was exactly as advertised and what we expected. All amenities available as advertised and everything in good working order. The hosts are super friendly and do a great job at making guests feel welcome!

What a lovely, tranquil, and peaceful stay! The home was spotless and truly one of the best and most well-equipped places we’ve ever stayed in. From the spacious and comfortable bedrooms to the pristine bathrooms and the thoughtful amenities throughout, everything was designed to make our stay incredibly enjoyable and stress-free. Even though the weather wasn’t the best- the home was so cosy to spend in doors as well, but definitely booking it during summertime to get to experience it then as well. Overall, a fantastic experience—10/10, would definitely recommend, with a lovely host/cohost to make it a great experience.

What a memorable stay in Hermanus, made more so by Marinda. Location was ideal. Quiet yet close to everything. The cottage was in a beautiful setting as Marinda's garden is breathtaking. Odie and I felt completely at home in the cottage, including interaction with neighbors! Marinda is a kind soul, always looking out for me and Odie. Cannot wait to visit again during whale season!

My 3-week stay was absolutely fantastic! I honestly couldn't be any more positive. The flat is extremely well-equipped for a comfortable stay. I spent 2 weeks working remotely & another week on holiday, & the space perfectly accommodated both. Beautiful bedroom decor and comfortable bed, and the bathroom and shower are equally lovely. Kitchen had everything I needed and the washing machine is an added bonus. One of the biggest plus points was the uninterrupted power supply thanks to the back-up solar power – no load shedding worries at all! A huge relief, especially as I was working. Such wonderful hosts who went above & beyond. Lucas even came to my rescue when my car battery died – a true lifesaver! It's easy to see why this place is so popular. It's a true gem, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Thank you, Lucas & Laetitia!

Jan was a wonderful host. My wife and I could not have found a better place to stay in Hermanus: the space is beautiful and the location could not have been better.

Lovely beach house in a superb location, only a very short walk to the beach. Well suited for 2 larger families or 3 smaller families traveling together. All amenities were fully stocked. What was particularly nice is that most of the bedrooms had en suite bathrooms which is helpful for those with teenagers or slightly older children.

A proper farm - protea flowers - but only 30 minute scenic drive to nearest large town (Stanford) and 15 minute drive to nearest small village. We (2 adults + 2 small dogs) enjoyed our walks, dips in the river ponds, and sunsets and sunrises, in short, a nice getaway. Lindsay was friendly, interesting and attentive, a great host.

A truly beautiful and peaceful place right up against nature. A house obviously lovingly designed for a smooth and convenient cooking and living experience. The views were stunning. Would love to come back!

I had the most amazing stay at the Pokey Starfish holiday home! From the moment we arrived, the charm of the place was evident. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The outdoor space was ideal for morning coffees and evening relaxation. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, providing local tips and making sure we had everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. I can't recommend Pokey Starfish enough – a perfect spot for a rejuvenating retreat!
