Absolutely charming cabin to enjoy snowy Island Park in the winter. We snowmobiled and cross country skied right from this peaceful getaway. The beds comfortable with clean bedding. The furniture was nice, but not so nice you were afraid to relax and enjoy the accommodations. The layout of the cabin lends itself to quiet times even with eight family members, including two children bustling around together. There’s lots of room for group gatherings in the kitchen and living room. The bathroom was clean with plenty of warm water for showers, the preset thermostat and floor space heaters kept the cabin toasty warm. The neighbors were friendly offering information about trail access, locations and conditions. They even offered us firewood if we ran out. Lovely cabin for making memories.

We stayed here because we wanted to explore Yellowstone NP , which was a great option because at this time of the year the NP didn’t have any availability. It’s only 20mins from west Yellowstone entrance to the park. The place was amazing, 4 rooms , 2 bathrooms !! Nothing bad to say about anything at all. The host was responsive when we had an issue but was resolved promptly. We’d definitely come back here if we’ll ever come back that way .

We absolutely enjoyed our time at the house. It was very spacious to house all of comfortably. We went there during absolutely freezing negative temperature period and the heating was sufficient. The view from the house is amazing and would earn my recommendation on that alone. Mandi was quick to reply and helpful whenever we had a query.

Disclaimer: I am NOT an easy-to-please traveler. Needed to escape for a few days to refresh in nature so I was looking for a relaxing oasis - this property delivered. Amazing views, absolutely silent, comfy / luxe furnishings. Would absolutely stay in this property again. Only recommendations I’d have to film some minor gaps: invest in humidifiers, less softener in the towels because they get slippery and less absorbent, and better shampoo/conditioner in bathrooms as I hate to travel with mine. Literally nothing to complain about - just minor suggestions because I’m sure this property attracts a picky guest type :)
