Special offers are a powerful way to attract guests and fill your calendar quickly. By customising pricing or suggesting alternative trip details, you can turn interested guests into confirmed bookings.
When someone sends you a message before they book or submit a trip request, you can reply with a special offer that includes a custom price. You can also suggest different dates or another one of your places instead. If the guest accepts your special offer (they have 24 hours to do so), their reservation is automatically confirmed.
If they’ve already booked or requested your place, you can’t send a special offer—but you can still give them a discount by changing the reservation details.
First, make sure your calendar is open and that you don’t have any pending requests for the dates in your offer—if you do, you’ll have to decline them. Also, be certain you want to host the guest, because their trip will be automatically confirmed if they accept.
When your offer is sent, the guest will see all costs clearly broken down—including taxes and service fees as separate items.
When you send special offers to multiple guests for the same dates, whoever accepts first wins out. That’s why we recommend being transparent in your messages that other guests may be interested in booking the same dates.
