Payouts for monthly stays

When guests settle in for monthly stays of 28 nights or more, you can look forward to a more steady source of income, as your payouts are distributed monthly throughout the duration of the guest’s reservation.

When payouts for monthly stays are released

For reservations that are 28 nights or more, we collect payments monthly.

  • For most reservations, we’ll charge your guest for the first month upfront and we’ll release the initial payout to you by the end of the business day after the guest’s scheduled check-in date.
  • For monthly stays of 28 nights or longer, if a host has fewer than two completed stays, unless they have verified their listing location, or have listings with ongoing issues, the initial payout will be released by the end of the business day 28 days after the guest’s scheduled check-in date.
  • Upcoming payouts are released on a monthly basis after the initial payout for the duration of the reservation.
  • Once payouts are released by Airbnb, the time it takes you to get your money depends on your payout method’s processing time. Find the processing times for payout methods.
  • All transactions may be reviewed before payout is released. For example, we may review a transaction in order to prevent fraud. This could result in funds being delayed up to 45 days after guest check-in, paused or in rare cases, removed from your account. Learn more about when you’ll get your payout.

    Find your monthly payouts

You can check the status of your monthly payouts in your earnings dashboard.

    Payout timing for new hosts

If you are a host who doesn’t have two completed stays and you haven’t verified your listing’s location, your initial payout will be released by the end of the business day 28 days after the guest’s scheduled check-in date. After the initial payout, future payouts will be released on a monthly basis for the remainder of the reservation.
