Confirm a payment method

Before completing a transaction with a new payment method, you’ll need to confirm it first. This process won’t charge your new payment method, it just verifies that your details are correct to ensure a smooth experience in the future.

To confirm a payment method

Confirm a payment method on desktop

  1. Click Profile > Account > Payments & payouts
  2. Go to Payment methods
  3. Click Confirm card for the payment method that needs to be confirmed
  4. Follow the directions to complete the confirmation

What happens if you don’t confirm your payment method

When your payment method isn’t confirmed, you won’t be able to finish booking a reservation or make new reservations with that payment method.

Any upcoming reservations that are already confirmed won’t be affected.
