Adding accessibility features to listings

We've updated some of our accessibility features. Step-free path to guest entrance and Step-free guest entrance have been merged into one new feature called Step-free access.

It's wonderful when you can welcome even more people to your place by adding accessibility features—many guests search listings for specific requirements. Find out how to make your place more accessible.

Getting started with accessibility features

First, make sure your listing is published. Then you can edit your listing by room and highlight each accessibility feature with at least one clear photo. Once your features are confirmed against our photo guidelines, they’ll be shown on your listing’s Accessibility features section.

Edit your listing to include accessibility features

  1. Click Listings and select the listing you want to edit
  2. Under Listing editor, click Your space
  3. Tap Accessibility features
  4. Click I have this feature and add photos for any accessibility feature you'd like to add to your listing
  5. Review and click Save

You’ll be required to add at least one photo for each feature. All features and photos must meet our guidelines below. Once your features are confirmed against our photo guidelines, they’ll be shown on your listing’s Accessibility features section.

Edit your room to include accessibility features

  1. Click Listings and select the listing you want to edit
  2. Under Listing editor, click Your space
  3. Click Photo tour
  4. Select the room, click Accessibility features and add your accessibility features
  5. Review and click Save

If you're connected to Airbnb via a channel manager or property management software on full sync, you'll need to update your accessibility amenities via your API software. Contact your API software provider to ask them about their timeline to release the Accessibility API feature so you can add your amenities.
