The cabin is located in the forest about 400 meters from Storvika Beach and outdoor area. Storvika is Trøndelag's finest beach and a super swimming area! Storvika also has several bolted routes for mountain climbing and the beach is widely used for windsurfing and kiting. Walking distance to train station and city center. There may be some noise from the parking lot and industry during the day.

The famous Frostastien trail runs right outside the cabin area. The cabin is located on the upper row with a great view.
