Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. This traditional log cabin offers a peaceful hideaway right on the lake shore. Hand-carved from thick logs, the cottage exudes peace. Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful place to stay. Child-friendly, slowly deepening sandy beach and clear water. The place has great fishing opportunities. Surrounded by pineforest for hiking, picking berries and mushrooms. Only 0,5km to the village with different services. There is electicity, washing water coming from lake and fireplace heating. There is a rowbout for fishing, terrace and dock for swimming and spending time by beautiful lake scenery. There are some neighbours nearby.
