Naturhaus Altmühltal

Our nature house consists entirely of natural building materials and uses the synergy effects of radiant heat and solar energy. The untreated wood is constructed according to the system of Bio-Solar-Haus, whereby no paint or other preservatives were processed. The solid wood floors throughout the house are oiled. In addition to natural wood such as stone pine and oak, other natural materials such as natural stone from the region (Jura marble) have been processed. The construction of the Bio-Solar house allows a natural air circulation and thus dispenses with the disadvantages of ventilation systems. There are no convection formed due to a built-ceiling and wall radiant heating.Through the house-in-house system (without vapor barrier), the water vapor can diffuse freely to the outside, causing no condensation and mold. Given the low heating energy demand in the house and the use of solar radiation, no fossil fuels are needed. Solar energy is the main energy source, only in winter can be heated if necessary with the wood stove. Service we are happy to bring you fresh, crispy and wholesome bread rolls from a BIO-bakery from our region.

At the foot of the picturesque Hohenzollern Castle in Colmberg, our lovingly furnished holiday home is nestled in a quiet residential area, right next to the deer enclosure. Our accommodation is just a short walk from Colmberg Castle and the golf course. This 95-square-metre house features a comfortable living room, a dining room, a kitchen with a dishwasher, as well as 1 bathroom, 1 separate toilet and 2 double bedrooms on the ground floor. Free Wi-Fi is available. The charging station is a 5-minute walk away.

Cosy holiday apartment on the quiet outskirts of the town, ideally located for excursions to Dinkelsbühl (approx. 6 km) and Rothenburg ob der Tauber (approx. 36 km). Located right in the heart of nature, it offers the perfect place to switch off, relax and take a deep breath. The apartment has 3 bedrooms (Beds: 2× 160×200 cm, 1× 180×200 cm). In addition, the sofa in the living room can be transformed into a comfortable sofa bed at the touch of a button – ideal for extra guests or a cosy movie night.

Wir freuen uns sehr wenn ihr das Ferienhaus für euch selbst entdeckt. Mein Highlight im Haus ist der großzügige Wohnessbereich wo man auch mit großen Gruppen gemütlich sitzt. Bei Sonnenschein ist das Highlight natürlich der riesige Naturgarten, ob auf der Terrasse unter dem Nussbaum oder im Liegestuhl auf der Wiese

Unser Ferienhaus hat 3 Schlafzimmer mit 2x Doppelbetten und 1x 2 Einzelbetten, 2 Bäder und eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Im Wohnzimmer befindet sich ein Kaminofen. Herrliche Aussicht zum Hesselberg (höchster Berg Mittelfrankens), Garten mit Feuerstelle und Grillmöglichkeit. Spielplatz direkt nebenan. Wanderwege führen am Grundstück vorbei. Bei Fragen oder Problemen sind wir nur 2 Häuser weiter und jederzeit ansprechbar.

The quiet cottage is on the edge of the woods near a residential estate. There are many leisure opportunities because the cottage is located between the "Altmühltal" and the "Fränkischen Seenland" so you can do many different trips. Because of the quiet and peaceful location of our cottage we decided not to install WiFi so our guest can take time out.
