There is no running water here, but there is an old-fashioned charming little kitchen with modern equipment. The toilet consists of a modern combustion toilet. A shower with hot water is available in an adjacent building. The farm is located in a quiet, old-fashioned village surrounded by forest and arable land, but with idyllic Mariefred and Gripsholm Castle around the corner. In the yard, you can meet dogs, cats, chickens and beehives.

Stay in a nice old log cabin, originally from the 1600s, which is carefully and tastefully decorated for relaxation and coziness all year round. With a nice reading and writing corner, a dinner nap-friendly kitchen sofa, well-stocked pantry for breakfast and coffee, and a nice fireplace for warmth and company. The bed is made, just crawl in and sleep well.

A simple little house where you can sleep and prepare basic meals while enjoying everything that Mariefred has to offer. The house is only 15 sqm, so it’s small but cozy. There is a bed that is 140 cm wide, a small writing desk with a chair, and a small table with two stools. There is a TV with Netflix, Telia Play, and Disney+. There is also a small kitchenette with two hotplates and a portable fan. Parking is available on the street outside or elsewhere nearby.

Welcome to our carefully renovated house from the 1600s! Here you live next to Strängnäs Cathedral and have the city center nearby. Our charming house also has an exciting story to tell. The house has had the privilege of being included in the popular history and building conservation program on TV, SVT "Det sitter i väggarna" in the fall of 2023. Of course, cleaning, bed linens, towels and coffee and tea are included.
